Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Welcome to the Capital City of Sikkim

After arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station, we will help you board a hassle free transfer to Gangtok.Don’t forget to capture the picturesque views of the mighty Teesta River on the way.Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.In the evening, you can visit the MG Marg of Gangtok
Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2 : GANGTOK TO LACHEN

The vehicle will report for North Sikkim with permit from *VAJRA STAND AT 10:30AM - 12PM* -Drive to Lachen
Chungthang is nearly 96 kilometers from Gangtok
On the way stop at Chungthang - Next drive for 29 kilometers from Chungthang to Lachen
Reach Lachung late afternoon / early evening
The infrastructure is not good due to the remoteness and the snowfall / Rainfall
Check into a hotel - Welcome Tea - Evening free to stroll - Overnight stay at Hotel in Lachen
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, get ready to begin your Gangtok sightseeing tour.

Day 3 : LACHEN TO GURUDONGMAR LAKE. DRIVE TO LACHUNG

The route is Lachen - Gurudongmar lake .
Drive 55 kilometers from Lachen stop at 15000 feet for permit to be signed - Drive the rest and visit to Gurudongmar Lake - 3 hour - A valley at an altitude of nearly 15 800 feet through which Lachen Chu flows - This is a holy Lake and is one of the most sacred place of worship for the Buddhist - The Lake gets frozen during winter barring a stretch which remains as water even at - 20 C - The region is generally covered with snow from December to April - This is a stretch of cold desert till Tibet / China
While returning have lunch at Lachen - After Lunch drive to Lachung - Overnight stay at Hotel in Lachung.

Day 4 : LACHUNG TO YUMTHANG. DRIVE TO GANGTOK

Early morning breakfast - Visit to Yumthang i.e. 25 kilometers, 2 hour - A valley at an altitude of 11800 feet through which Lachung Chu flows, generally covered with snow from December to April or even more is known as the valley of flowers –
Guest can spend a few hours at Yumthang - The vast Valley stretches and is a cold desert till Tibet / China – The region is fully covered with snow and Rhododendron forest –
Back to hotel for lunch / Packed . Afternoon drive to Gangtok 130 Kilometers, 5 hours - Drop at Vajra stand around 7PM evening.

Day 5 : Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station | Depart with a bag of memories

After having a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and then board your vehicle to reach Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station.

It’s now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.

Child – Original + photocopy of any of the ID proof i.e. School ID / Passport
Infant – Birth certificate
Above mentioned ID proof is mandatory at the time of booking and carry the same ID proof on tour as well
The charges for Nathu La Pass are not included in the package as this is a restricted area and special permits are required to visit the same. Permits are granted only between Wednesday and Sunday and can be canceled anytime for security reasons or weather conditions. Very limited number of vehicles are granted permits for Nathu La therefore the same are subject to availability and are never guaranteed in advance. Thus, you are required to pay the same on spot, depending on the real time conditions. (Applicable even if Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir are included in the package).
Nathu La Pass can be added at an extra cost of INR 4000/- to INR 9000/- per vehicle, depending on the season and availability.
