From Where Do You Start This Trek?
To start with the Phulara Ridge trek, one has to reach Sankri, which is 200km away from Dehradun. So no matter where you are, you must reach Dehradun, from where you can easily find buses and shared cabs to Sankri. Here are a few convenient commutes to travelling to Dehradun: By Road: With good road connectivity and NH7, travelling to Dehradun is comfortable no matter where you travel. There are also bus services and shared cab facilities available. By Air: Dehradun has a domestic airport, and many cities have a direct flight to this airport. What Is The Best Time To Go On The Phulara Ridge Trek?
If you plan to go on the Phulara Ridge trek, you can choose the summer months, preferably May and June. You will love the transformation of trails from snow to green paths. Many Rhododendrons bloom during this time, and you can capture many aesthetically pleasing images on this trek. Also, as the weather is slightly warmer, you will not have any breathing issues during this trek. Another great time on this trek is from September to November, right after the monsoon rain. Nature has freshened up after the rains, and nature is flaunting lush green trails. As it is mostly autumn, you will see the green leaves turning orangish and yellowish. If you have been amazed at a beautiful image of the mountains during autumn, you can experience it here.
