Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Leh: The Arrival and Sightseeing

  Once you reach land at the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport - Leh, meet and greet our tour representative, and get an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel at Leh. After reaching, complete your check-in formalities and relax. The rest of the time is free at leisure. The capital of Ladakh is situated at an altitude of about 11800 ft above sea level. Being located in such a high altitude zone you might need time to adapt yourself to a low air pressure zone. Take your time to acclimatize yourself. Later in the noon visit Shanti stupa, which is a true Buddhist architectural gem. In the evening, to roam around the local market. Once done, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Leh: A Full Day Sightseeing

  Wake up early in the morning, enjoy breakfast, and drive towards Spituk. On arrival visit Spituk Monastery and soak in the tranquility. Next, visit the famous Magnetic Hills, which is also known as gravity hill, which possesses impeccable magnetic properties. Later visit the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River near Nimoo and admire the mesmerizing views. Later head towards Pather Sahib, which is a significant Sikh pilgrimage site. Later in the evening get back to Leh, if time allows, you can hop around the local market and shop for souvenirs. After wonderful sightseeing, get back to the hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful sleep.

• Day 3 : Leh: An Outing to Pangong Tso

  On the 3rd day of your Ladakh tour package, wake up early in the morning, get refreshed, and get ready to enjoy a full day visit to one of the most famous attractions in Ladakh, Pangong Lake. The major highlight of the lake is that it has the ability to change its color, the lake is nearly 140 km long and 3-5 km wide and more than half of it lies in the Tibetan territory. After spending a wonderful time, later in the evening drive back to the hotel. If time allows, explore the streets of Leh. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

• Day 4 : Leh: A Visit to One of the Highest Motorable Passes

  Greet the early morning sun and get ready to visit one of the highest motorable passes in the world, the Khardungla Pass. It is located at an altitude of about 18360 feet above sea level. Once you visit this pass you can admire the beautiful surroundings and soak in calmness. It is maintained by the Border Roads Organisation and is strategically important to India as it is used to transport supplies to the Siachen Glacier.

  Wake up early in the morning, get refreshed as today you are going to enjoy the cultural immersion in and around Leh. Visit Thiksey Gompa, which is one of the most famous monasteries in Ladakh. Later visit Shey Palace, which is renowned for a giant copper with a gilded gold statue of a seated Shakyamuni Buddha. Later, visit Hemis, which hosts one of the most well-known festivals in Ladakh, the Hemis festival. After visiting the famous monasteries, drive towards Stok Palace Museum and witness the royal artifacts and paraphernalia. After enjoying the day, get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
