Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / (IXB) BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – GANGTOK.

  On Your arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Bagdogra Airport, a OUR staff will meet and assist you for your onwards transfer to Gangtok , the capital town of Sikkim. Gangtok , Meaning “Ridge” has today with its booming economy and racy lifestyle has turned into a happening city and yet presents an interesting mix of cultures, located at 5500 Ft in the eastern Himalayas ,Distance 125 Km from Bagdogra airport , 126 Km from New Jalpaiguri Railway station, and 98 Km from Darjeeling . (approximately 04 to 05 Hrs drive to Gangtok ). On arrival at your hotel Kelly holidays tour manager will meet and brief you regarding your tour .

• Day 2 : EXCURSION TO TSONGMO LAKE , BABA MANDIR AND NATHULA ( OPTIONAL ).

  After early breakfast, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake 8 am . Tsomgo or “Source of water ” derives its water from the melting snows of the surrounding mountain making it magical throughout the year .In the summertime the hills are awash with blooming flowers , in winter it’s stunning snowfields .Tsomgo lake is a stopover for migratory duck , including Brahmini ducks .Tsomgo lake is located at 12,400 ft , the lake is 1 km long , oval in shape and 50ft deep .Fishing or dirtying the lake is prohibited , Spend your time playing in the snow , take a Yak ride or don the traditional Sikkimese garbs . Nathula Located at 14,400-ft links India with the Tibet Autonomous Region of China , from Nathu-la Lhasa is 525 km away . Nathu-la is 43Kms from Gangtok and takes approximately 3 Hrs one way. After a action packed fun day you return back to Your Hotel in Gangtok . Evening at leisure at MG road , the main street in Gangtok is litter free, spit free and traffic free, here one can either sit at Titanic park or on various benches stretched across the mall .
  (In case of Land slide or any reason Tshangu Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).

• Day 4 : GANGTOK – DARJEELING VIA NAMCHI

  After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling via Namchi, covering Char Dham and Sandruptse statue (6100 Ft / 1860 Mts, 116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Overnight at Hotel in Pelling

  The word Namchi meaning ‘Sky High’ nestled among the hills at an elevation of 4400 ft, commands a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains and vast stretches of valley. It is about 78 kms from Gangtok and 100 kms from Siliguri. With important tourism projects down the line, Namchi is fast picking up us an important tourist destination.
  
  SIDDHESHVARA DHAM, SOLOPHOK
  
  Located about 5 kms from Namchi on top of the Solophok Hill Siddheshvara Dham is a unique pilgrim Centre. The entire complex is divided into four main elements (1) A 108’ tall statue of lord Shiva with 12 jyotirlingas (2) Replicas of four Dham, Badrinath, jaganath and Dwarka dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Rameshwar to Lord Shiva (3) Sai Baba Temple and (4) Krateswar Statue Beside Nandi Bull, Sai Dwar, Sai Temple, Kirat Dwar Shiv Dwar all offer one platform for Guru Padmasambhava in the world.
  
  SAMDRUPTSE
  
  72 kms from Gangtok near Namchi in South Sikkim is Samdruptse which means “The Wish Fulfilling Hill”. A 135 ft. state of Guru Padmasambhava is installed at the top of Samdruptse. His Holiness the Dalai Lama Laid Foundation stone of the statue on 22.10.1997. It is said to be the statue of Guru Padmasambhava in the world.

• Day 5 : DARJEELING FULL DAY SIGHTSEENG

  Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). visit Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast go for a Full-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel
