Day 1 : Arrive Paro to Thimphu.
Your 06 Days Bhutan Tour starts with the flight into Paro on our national carrier, Druk Air, is a befitting introduction to the spectacular beauty of our country. In the clear weather, magnificent views of the world’s highest peaks give way to the lush green of Paro valley as you land. The first gift from Bhutan is the cool, clean fresh air as we step out of the plane. After clearing customs and visa control you will be brief by our guide and transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The drive will take around one hour. The town is made up of just three lines of shops and is the only capital in the world without traffic lights. In the evening, we will visit the Handicrafts Emporium, where all types of Bhutanese handicrafts are made and sold.

Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast visit following places :-
Memorial Chorten: This stupa was built in 1974 to honor the 3rd King of Bhutan, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. This religious structure is circumambulated only in a clockwise direction (reciting prayers and whirling the large red prayer wheels). Buddha Point: Visit the world’s largest sitting Buddha, an immense statue housing a monastery and visitors center. Enjoy a stunning view of Thimphu city from this point. National Takin Reserve ( Mini Zoo ): Drive up the National Takin Reserve – Mini Zoo : The MotithangTakin Preserve in Thimphu is a wildlife reserve area for takin, the National Animal of Bhutan. Originally a mini-zoo, it was converted into a preserve when it was discovered that the animals refrained from inhabiting the surrounding forest even when set free. School of Thirteen Arts & Crafts: It is the primary center of learning for Bhutanese artists. Depending upon the student’s interest, one can specialize in any of the thirteen arts and crafts, including painting, weaving, sculptures, blacksmithing, embroidery, etc. It is the best place for visitors to learn about traditional Bhutanese arts and crafts. After lunch visit - National Textile Museum – This museum is worth a visit to learn about Bhutan’s living national art of weaving. The ground floor focuses on cham costumes, while the upper floor introduces the major weaving techniques, styles of local dress and type of textiles made by women and men. There is usually a small group of weavers working their looms inside the shop, which features work from the renowned weaving centre of Lhuentse in northeastern Bhutan.National Library :National Library which was established in 1967 and has many ancient Dzongkha and Tibetan texts.

Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Punakha, the road climbs steeply through a forest of pine and cedar, festooned with hanging lichen high up near Dochula pass (3,150 m). This pass often offers panoramic views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. After stopping for a tea and view, drive to Punakha - visit Punakha Dzong, winter seat of the Je Khenpo and ancient capital of Bhutan, remarkably located between the rivers of the Mo (Female) Chu and Pho (Male) Chu. After Punakha Dzon. Plan for rafting at Punakha River - the clean and clear rivers of Bhutan are one of the kingdom’s best kept open secrets. The rivers are plentiful with high currents and depths reaching a maximum of about five meters; at places it passes gently on and in others the rivers rage through loudly, dominating the environs. After adventurecheck in at hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Punakha to Paro Sightseeing
On the fourth day, after breakfast drive to Paro. After refreshment at hotel visit following places - Drive to the Drukgyal Dzong, (a ruined fortress – 16 km away from Paro town). The dzong, although in ruins, holds great historical significance. It was from this fortress that the Bhutanese repelled many Tibetan invasions. The name means the victorious Bhutanese. This spot offers a magnificent vista of Mount Chomolhari “Mountain of Goddess” (7,329 m). Visit a typical Bhutanese farmhouse on the way back. A short distance south of the road is Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temple in Bhutan built in 7th century. This temple is said to have been built in 659 by King Songtsen Gampo of Tibet. It holds down the left foot of an ogress whose body is so large that it covers Bhutan and most of eastern Tibet. Also visit Rinpung Dzong. Built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first temporal ruler of Bhutan, it is now houses of the Paro monastic body and the office of the Dzongda (governor) and Thrimpon (Judge) of Paro district. It is the venue of the Paro Tshechu (festival) held once every year. Then visit Ta Dzong an ancient watch tower. This Dzong was converted into the National Museum in 1968. The museum boasts antique Thangka, textiles, weapons and armour, household objects and rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts. Evening stroll through the main town of Paro. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Paro – Hike to Taktsang.
In the second last day of 9 Nights 10 Days Bhutan Tour, early in the morning drive till Satsam Chorten to hike up to the Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s nest). The hike up to the cafeteria will take around one and half hour. At the view point enjoy the stunning view of monastery, where Guru Padmasambhava landed on the back of a tigeress in the 8th century. After walk back to the road point where your car will pick you up and then drive to your hotel. Evening, do some last minute shopping. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6 : Departure
After the early breakfast, our representative will drop you to the airport for departure.
