Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Rishikesh to Lohajung Distance covered: 225 km Drive

  The journey for Brahmatal trek sets into motion from Rishikesh, and therefore you arrive at Rishikesh railway station or bus stand early morning. You shall be picked up from there and once all the enthusiastic trekkers have gathered, we shall leave for Lohagunj. Lohagunj is 225 KM away from Kathgodam and it shall be a 9-hour drive. . Lohagunj is located in the Chamoli district of Uttrakhand. On our way, we shall witness the mountain towns of Devprayag, karnprayag, Rudraprayag etc. We will arrive at Lohagunj in the evening. Lohagunj offers itself as a small marketplace forthe nearby towns of Curling, Mundoli, and Wan. During dinnertime, The trek leader briefs us about whatthe course ofthe journey shall be forthe next day. Afterthis, we can tuck ourselves in our cozy beds to rest and prepare forthe exciting journey which shall follow.

• Day 2 : Lohajung to Bekaltal Distance covered: 8 Km Trek

  We will wake up and prepare ourselves to finally begin our much-awaited exciting experience. The Brahmatal Trek shall commence after a healthy breakfast. Ensure that you have packed well and are carrying water, energy bars, and other essentials that might come in handy during the trek.
  We shall leave the villages behind and trek towards the oak and fir forests. You will experience the most mesmerizing view as you walk on the trail amidst rhododendrons which are heavily laden with red flowers in the months between February and April. You shall witness the towering Nandaghunti Peak.
  The first segment of the Brahmatal Trek shall conclude in 4-5 hours as we reach our base camp at the magnificent Bekaltal Lake. Here, we will finally set up ourtents for the night and experience the fun of lakeside camping. You shall have ample time to indulge in fun activities and with fresh snow around; go ahead make that snowman and play snow-ball fighting to your heart's delight. • Day 3 : Bekaltal To Brahmatal Distance covered: 7 Km Trek

  Today on our Brahmatal Trek we shall be trekking closer to our destination. As we wake up to a perfect sunrise amidst the snow-clad peaks, we will freshen up, have our breakfasts, and resume ourtrek. Initially, we shall ascend on a steep trail but soon, we shall be up for uneasy walk through snow-covered meadows. Once we reach the Telinditop as we pass through the Oak forests, behold the majestic beauty of the mighty Himalayas. Finally, we shall arrive at Brahmatal or Khabekhal Lake. We shall set ourselves up here!

• Day 4 : Brahmatal To Daldum Distance covered: 13 Km

  We wake up in the laps of a magical place that Brahmatal is. We will have our breakfast and continue ourtrek. Today we shall climb the top of Brahmatal. It shall be the visually pleasing view of the trek as you will be at a high altitude and will witness Mt Trishul and Mt Nanda Ghunti standing tall in their entire glory. It willtake almost 2-3 hours to reach the Brahmataltop. Once at the peak of this trek you will witness a breath-taking panoramic view of Chaukhambha, Mandir, Mana, Nilgiri, Neelkanth, Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Maitoli, and mountains stretching all the way to the Panchachulirange. This is one of the major highlights of the Brahmatal Trek.
  We shall be proceeding towards our next campsite which is at Daldum. The trail is almost 2.7Km in distance and it’lltake almost 3 hours to reach our campsite. We will once again be
  following a trailthat goes through the native forests

• Day 5 : Daldum to Lohajung Distance covered: 3 Km

  We have successfully covered the most exotic locations that the trek had to offer. Now, we will head for our journey back to Lohajung. The trailtraversed is the same as from the one in which we came. The journey shall be covered soon and once back at Lohajung, we shall check-in at the stay arrangement made and finally relax in a proper bed! You can relish the memories made on the wonderful trek, relax and rejuvenate and wander around in the areasin the vicinity to explore the local culture

• Day 6 : Brahmatal To Daldum

  The trek concludes on a high note and we depart for Rishikesh. You will be driven back to Rishikesh from where you shall plan to depart as per your personal arrangements. If you wish, you can spend some time exploring Rishikesh or shopping at the local markets. There are quite a few things to discover in this beautiful place as well!

CANCELLATION BY OPERATERS

• In case a trek is called off by the operator# due to unforeseen circumstances which are beyond the control of the operator#, such as natural clamities, denial of permissions by various government bodies etc., the following conditions shall be applicable.
• The Operator# will not be liable for any monetary refunds.
• The User/Client who has made a booking, shall be entitled to book for a future trek with us, subject to availability of fixed departures within a period of 6 months from the date of the original departure date for which the booking was made.
• The aforementioned entitlement shall be less than or equal to the amount that was paid to the operator as an advance and will be subject to deductions by the operator for the bookings that the operator may have made for the trek under consideration, such as transport, hotels, for which the services of 3rd party may have been employed.

• In cases where the request for cancellation is received after the commencement of the trip orifthe user voluntarily drops out of the trip for any reason whatsoever, SAR OUTDOORS shall not be liable to pay any refund. Furthermore, no refund shall be payable by SAR OUTDOORS for any of the service or facility provided by SAR OUTDOORS in its packages, but not availed by the user

Cancellation & Refund Policy :
If the user wishes to cancel any booking due to any reason whatsoever, the same shall be only valid if SAR OUTDOORS is notified of the cancellation in writing on its official address or via e-mail, atleast15 days before the commencement of the trip or adventure activity. Any refund due to the user, natural
calamity, road blocks will be subjectto cancellation charges by SAR OUTDOORS
Written cancellations will only be acknowledged if they are received by SAR OUTDOORS on their official address or e-mail on working days. Cancellation request received on Sundays and public holidays shall be processed only on the next official working day.

The following refund shall be payable to the user in case of valid cancellation of a booking:-
If the cancellation requests received before 30 days from the commencement of the trip, the whole amount paid for the trip will be refunded.
If the cancellation requests received between 15 to 30 days from the commencement of the trip, 50% of the trip cost shall be refunded.
In cases where the cancellation requests notreceived before 15 days from the commencement of the trip SAR OUTDOORS shall not be liable to pay any refund.
Cancellation of booking made within 15 days of departure date will not be liable for any refund.
