Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at the Srinagar airport and visit Srinagar local sightseeing

Shalimar Garden Nishat Garden

Today you will explore the local tourist places in the Srinagar. A trip to Srinagar without visiting Mughal gardens is incomplete. Mesmerize yourself with the Mughal Gardens of Emperor Shahjahan which include Shalimar Garden, Nishat Garden and Cheshmashahi Garden. In evening return back to your hotel relax yourself with delicious dinner and retire to bed in Srinagar.

Day 2

Srinagar to Sonmarg (Day Trip)

After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (97 kms from Srinagar one way). Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base of some interesting treks to the high altitude Himalayan lakes. Visit the world’s famous Thajwas Glacier by pony or car (at your own cost), & return back to Srinagar hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Srinagar to Gulmarg (Day Trip)

After breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Gulmarg (8700 ft a.s.l). Which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. Gulmarg is also known as "Meadow of Flowers" and is a famous Golf Course during summer (which is one of the highest 18-hole golf course in the world) and Ski Resort during winter.
One can take a Gondola ride (cable car at your own cost) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Evening return back to your reserved hotel in Srinagar for overnight stay & dinner at hotel.

Day 4

Srinagar to Pahalgam

A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Start your day with heavy breakfast as you will be proceeding towards Pahalgam which is known for valleys and Bollywood movies. The journey will take around 3 hours and you should visit the famous Awantipura Ruins and Saffron fields on the way. Awantipura ruins are known for being ancient Hindu temples during the reign of King Avantiverman who ruled during AD 855-833. On the way do some local shopping for Saffron and Kashmiri antiques. You are in Pahalgam and you should not miss the Aru Valley, Chandanwari valley and Betaab valley. They are all famous for being the site for Bollywood movies.
If you have a taste for adventure rides then a visit to Pahalgam club, Children’ Park and Zoo is a must. Check in to your hotel and relax yourself with delicious dinner and a night stay.

Day 5

Pahalgam to Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed to Srinagar and check-in to your house boat and refresh yourself. As your arrival will be late, day will be on leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.

Departure at Srinagar Airport

Early in the morning right after breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport.
