• Day 1 : Arrive – Katra-Srinagar- 230 Kms 06-07 Hrs. Drive(Approx)

  Arrival at Katra railway station you will be met by our Representative/Driver. Transfer to Srinagar Hotel which is already booked for you.
  The journey from Katra to Srinagar is a beautiful one that takes you through the heart of Jammu and Kashmir. The distance between the two cities is approximately 250 kilometers, and the time taken to cover the distance depends on the mode of transportation you choose.
  If you’re traveling by road, the journey from Katra to Srinagar takes around 6-7 hours. The road is well- maintained, and you’ll pass through several towns and villages on the way, offering stunning views of the Himalayan range.

  After breakfast enjoy your day trip to Sonamarg. The drive to Sonamarg is through the Sindh Valley. Situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, Sonamarg (The meadow of gold). Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer months. Sonamarg is the base of a major trek that passes along several mountain lakes – Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangabal. Sonamarg is also the takeoff station for the drive to Ladakh across the Zojila, a major pass in the Great Himalayan Range, through which the Srinagar-Leh Road passes.

  After breakfast transfer from Srinagar to Pahalgam. Pahalgam in the south-east of Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 mts above sea level. It is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains , dense forests, high mountain altitude lakes , it also offers 9 hole golf course, pony trails, Angling,(rainbow & brown trout’s) horse riding, trekking (both hard & soft) & various places of interest in & around like Aru valley, Beetab valley and Chandanwari (by Local Taxi of your own). On the way to Pahalgam Stop at Pampore (Saffron Fields). Next stop will be Awantipura ruins nestled between Srinagar and Pahalgam, located on the banks of the river Jhelum, is a small yet historically important town of Awantipura. This town is home to the famous Awantipura ruins, representing the once grand Awantipura temple.

  After having Breakfast proceed for Local Sightseeing of Two Famous Mughal Gardens.
  
  Nishat Bagh also known as the garden of Pleasure is a ten terraced garden sprawled along the eastern side of the Dal Lake, with the towering Zabarwan hills as its backdrop. Build in 1634, designed by Asif Khan during the region of Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
  
  Shalimar Bagh is considered to be the finest Mughal -style hill garden and was made by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619 for his beloved wife, Nur-jahan. The Shalimar Bagh was built as the summer residence of the Mughals. The water canals and fountains cover a major area of the garden and the gurgling sound of soothing water canals. This day after completing the all sightseeing in Srinagar our Driver will take us back to Srinagar for Houseboat stay.
