Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Shimla to Kinnaur

  Kinnaur is one of the twelve administrative districts in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located in the southeastern part of the state, and borders Tibet on its eastern end. Kinnaur Road has been cut into hard rock, to make a road linking Kinnaur and the rest of the country. Most of the villages of Kinnaur lie at quite a high altitude, some close to 4000m. It's a dry and very cold area, and in the right season (July-August) its quietness, great visibility, wonderful views and somewhat mysterious atmosphere all make it a great area to explore.

• Day 2 : RAKHCHAM Village

  Overnight Stay at RAKHCHAM Village
  
  A relatively unknown travel destination on the way to Chitkul via Sangla, Rakcham is found at a height of around 2900m. A sparse population of around 800 people inhabit the village. While moving towards Chitkul from Sangla, the village is found on the left side of the main road and the river Baspa flows on the right. The men in Rakchum normally take care of the herd of sheep and cows whereas women tend to farming and household chores.
  
  Rakcham is a quaint village situated in Himachal Pradesh about 23 kms away from Chitkul, the last Indian village before the Tibet Border. The scenic little hamlet is located in the enchanting Baspa Valley by River Baspa, which is an important tributary of the Sutlej. The region is covered with dense vegetation throughout the year. The serene snow-capped peak of Kinnaur Kailasha mountains that border the district of Kinnaur can also be witnessed from this little hamlet. A very unique trait of the village is its remoteness.

  A small village situated in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh in north India, Nako is one of the beauty treasures of Himachal Pradesh untouched by travelers.
  The village is known for its location in Hangrang Valley at Tibet border, beautiful Nako lake and monasteries.
  Nako lake is an oval shape lake surrounded with mountains; valley and whitewashed village give a picturesque location. To experience the scenic beauty, boating attracts people from distant places during summer while the frozen lake in winter becomes hub for ice skating.
