Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Leh

On arrival at Leh airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a simple and light lunch at your respective hotels today. Since you are reaching an altitude of 11000 feet, we strongly recommend that you take complete rest and drink enough water on the first day, while you should not indulge in any strenuous activity. The rest of the day is free to acclimatise to the altitude of Leh. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 2 : Sham Valley Tour

After breakfast, we will drive along the Indus River to the confluence to witness the collision of the Zanskar River and the Indus River. On the way we will visit Gurdwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill (where cars defy gravity) and the Hall of Fame (which houses a museum of Kargil war memorabilia). Visit Shanti Stupa in the afternoon. Return to your hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 : Leh To Khardung La To Nubra Valley

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and we will begin our journey to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,832 feet above sea level. The views of snow clad peaks and mountains at Khardungla Pass are amazing. Then the road passes through a bridge built on a glacier, whose name is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Drive into the valley which is beautiful for photography. Nubra Valley is the oasis of Ladakh as you see some colorful trees in this area. Check in and enjoy your lunch. After lunch proceed to Hundur Sand Dunes and see double humped Bactrian camels (camel ride on direct payment basis), enjoy leisure time at the sand dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur village. Return to your respective camps in the evening. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Pangong

After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake at an altitude of 14,500 feet, via Agham and Shyok villages to reach Pangong Lake. Pangong, the world’s highest saltwater lake. Enjoy the breathtaking views and setting of the blue lake nestled amidst the towering Himalayan Mountains. Check in to your respective camps and enjoy your lunch. Spend leisure time alone in the afternoon. A popular location for many Bollywood movies, enjoy some unique moments and don’t forget to click some nice pictures. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 5 : Pangong To Leh

After sunrise, enjoy your early breakfast and check out from the camp and drive back towards Leh. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery, situated on a hill with spectacular views of the Indus Valley. The Thiksey is particularly notable for its colossal seated statue of Maitreya and is also known for its (dukhang) assembly hall, which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, placed between wooden covers and bound in silk. Are. Are. We then continue to drive through a series of chortens (stupas) to visit Shey Palace, the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Early evening, check in to hotel and rest. In the evening, you can choose to visit the local market to buy souvenirs for your loved ones (pick up and drop to the market will be on direct payment basis). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 : Departure from Leh

Transfer to Leh airport to board flight back for further journey with beautiful memories.
