Traveling in Tibet is an experience to stimulate the senses, ancient temples, teeming markets, prayer halls filled with praying monks and the stunning blue waters of Namtso holy lake. This is a tour that will live long in the memory. This five day tour will bring you to the great religious landmarks of Lhasa.
Day 1 : Arrive in Lhasa By Taking Train or Flight
Accommodation: Yak Hotel 3 star or similar
Lhasa airport or Train station pick-up by our local English-speaking tour guide and private van, then, transfer you to the hotel (3 star hotel). The rest of the day is free on your own.
Day 2 : Full Day Lhasa Tour to Potala Palace , Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street
Accommodation: Yak Hotel 3 star or similar
Hotel pick-up in the morning, then spend the whole morning to visit the famous Potala palace and explore the mythical halls, exhibition chambers, figures of the Buddha. In the afternoon, touring to the holy temple in Tibet – the Johkang Temple, which was built during songtsen gonpo's period by princess of wencheng in Great Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).
The circular pilgrim way around Jokhang temple is named Barkhor and later flourished, forming the embryo of the city. The barkhor market is one of the most famous sites throughout Tibet, and it is the ideal place to buy traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and traditional Tibetan clothes, etc.
Day 3 : Full Day Lhasa Tour to Drepung Monastery, Tibet Museum, Sera Monastery

Drepung monastery is located at the foot of a holy mountain and was established by Jamyang Choeje (a follower to Songtsen Gonpo) in 1416. It was used to the home of 10,000 monks and it was the center government before fifth dalai lama and then, the government was moved to the famous Potala palace. later on, you can also visit the Nechung monastery which located 1km southeast of Drepung and is the abode of the protector deity pehar and the seat of the state Oracle of Tibet.
In the afternoon, we will visit Tibet Museum , as Tibet's first museum in the modem sense, the museum of Tibet, situated at the southeastern comer of the Buddhist religious garden Norbulingka in Lhasa, was inaugurated in October 1999 on occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding the People's Republic of China and the 40th anniversary of the Democratic Reforms in Tibet as the product of one of 62 Chinese government funded projects launched in July 1994 in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Autonomous Region of Tibet. Coveting 53,959 square meters.
At around 3:00pm ,we will go on visiting to the Sera monastery which was founded in 1419 by Jamchen Choeje .
Day 4 : Tour from Lhasa to Namtso Lake
Accommodation: Local best hotel
Hotel pick-up and check-out by our guide and driver at 8:00 am, then leaving Lhasa to Namtso Holy Lake. While on the way, beautiful Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain will accompany us. Today, we will have chances to escort at the grassland, visit the nomad family and walk into the tent to drink the fresh yak milk, talk with the Tibetan Children, etc.
Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and the highest salt lake, as well. You can do a relax trekking around the lakeside and Tashi Island.
The scenery on the lakeshore is splendid, the clear sky is so clean that you will see all the stars twinkling and shinning, so close to you as if you could stretch your hands to pick them down. Namtso lake is actually the lake in the sky, it is about 5,000 meters high and lies on the highest plateau in the world.
On the way back to Lhasa, you will have a chance to enjoy hot-spring at Yangbachen at your own expense.
Day 5 : Back to Lhasa

After the former day's excitement and simple breakfast, we will drive you back to Lhasa for a better living condition and food
Day 6 : Return Home
Accommodation: Yak Hotel 3 star or similar
Free time in the morning for you to wander around Lhasa. Take a last, memorable look at the Potala Palace
