Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Bangalore & Transfer to Mysore

  Arrive in Bangalore and head to Mysore, which is about a 3-4 hour drive. Once you arrive in Mysore, check into your hotel and refresh. Afterward, visit the beautiful Mysore Palace, one of the top attractions in the city. You can also head to Chamundi Hill and visit the Chamundeshwari Temple, where you’ll get panoramic views of Mysore. If time permits, enjoy the evening light show at Brindavan Gardens (about 30 km from Mysore).

• Day 2 : Mysore to Ooty

  After breakfast, drive from Mysore to Ooty (approximately 4-5 hours). Once you arrive in Ooty, check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, you can visit the scenic Ooty Lake and take a boat ride. You can also explore the Ooty Botanical Gardens and the Rose Garden, both offering stunning displays of flora. In the evening, enjoy the cool weather and take a leisurely stroll through the town.

• Day 3 : Explore Ooty

  Start your day with a visit to Doddabetta Peak, which offers magnificent views of the Nilgiri Hills. Afterward, head to Coonoor, a nearby hill station, and visit the Sim's Park and the Lamb's Rock for more breathtaking views. In the afternoon, take a ride on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which will give you a unique experience of the hilly terrain. You can also visit the Ooty Tea Factory to learn about tea production in the region.

• Day 4 : Ooty to Kodaikanal

  After breakfast, drive to Kodaikanal, which will take approximately 6-7 hours by car. On arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. If time permits, enjoy a leisurely walk around Kodaikanal Lake or take a boat ride. The evening is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the cool climate of Kodaikanal.

• Day 5 : Explore Kodaikanal

  On your final day of exploration, visit Coaker’s Walk, a scenic path with panoramic views of the valleys. Next, head to Pillar Rocks, a famous viewpoint where you can enjoy dramatic views of the surrounding hills. Visit Bryant Park, which is a beautiful botanical garden, and then check out Suicide Point for a stunning view of the steep cliffs. If you have time, you can also explore Silver Cascade Waterfall or Devil’s Kitchen, a cave formation near Pillar Rocks.

• Day 6 : Departure from Kodaikanal

  On your last day, you can either relax in Kodaikanal or begin your journey back to Bangalore (approximately 8-9 hours by road). Alternatively, if you’re pressed for time, you can head to Madurai (which is about 3-4 hours away) for a flight or train to Bangalore.
