Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : NJP RAILWAY STATION /BAGDOGRA AIRPORT TO GANGTOK (125 KMS | 4 HOURS)

After you arrive at the Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station, you will be picked up by our representative, who will then transfer you to the hotel in Gangtok.Check-in and relax at the hotel for a while. In the evening, you can choose to explore the area on your own, especially the famous M.G Marg. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast this morning, you will prepare to leave for the visit to the famous Tsongmo Lake. The oval lake is situated at a height of 3,780 m at a distance of about 40 kms from Gangtok. Home to the Brahminy Duck and many other migratory birds, the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. On the way back, do stop at Kyongnosla to witness the beautiful alpine flowers.

Located 17 km away from the lake is the shrine of Baba Harbhajan Singh, the war hero of Indo-China War. His Shrine is called the Baba Mandir.Return to Gangtok. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3 : GANGTOK TO LACHEN (118 KMS | 6 HOURS)

This morning after breakfast, you will be leaving for the small town of Lachen. Surrounded by snowcapped peaks, the road to Lachen takes you through the beautiful Chungthang, a town near Kanchenjunga.

On the way to Lachen, you will be visiting attractions like Tashi view point, seven sister falls, and naga falls, before finally arriving in Lachen and checking in to your hotel. Overnight at Lachen

Day 4 : LACHEN - GURUDONGMAR LAKE (40 KM EACH SIDE) - LACHUNG (44 KM/2 HOURS)

You will start the day early to start the journey towards Gurudongmar Lake through the Kanchenjunga National Park. Breakfast will be at Thangu this morning.
The scenic Gurudongmar Lake will welcome you with beautiful sights of the hills and the glacial waters.

Post this, you will return to Lachen for your transfer to Lachung. On the way to there, you will pass by the Confluence of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Bhim Nala Waterfall and the Holy Rock at Chungthang. Arrive at Lachung and check-in hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 5 : LACHUNG - YUMTHANG VALLEY (26 KM/1.5 HOURS) - GANGTOK (130 KM/4 TO 5 HOURS)

After an early breakfast, you will be leaving to pay a visit to Sikkim's Valley of Flowers, Yumthang Valley, located at the height of 11,800 ft above sea level.
You will notice that where the tree line ends in Yumthang, the valley showcases vegetation of Primula, rhododendron and other alpine flowers.

On the way back, we will visit to the Hot springs of the region, which are considered to have medicinal properties. After sightseeing transfer back to Gangtok, check-in to the hotel for the night.

Day 6 : GANGTOK – NJP RAILWAY STATION /BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (125 KMS | 4 HOURS)

After your breakfast this morning, you will leave for the NJP station/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your return / onward journey.
