Day 1 : Arusha to Lake Manyara
Have your breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara for a morning Game Drive. Lake Manyara National Park possesses an unexpectedly striking setting and peaceful surrounding. Dramatically bordered by the sheer wall of the Rift Valley on one side and the shores of the lake on the other, this thin stretch of land hordes diverse habitats which in turn host a remarkable variety of wildlife. Afternoon visit Orphanage centre & other local tribes in Mto Wa Mbu, and participate in their daily activities.
Day 2 : Lake Manyara to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast departure to Lake Eyasi where we will visit the Datoga tribe and the Bushmen around the Lake. We will spend all day with the Bushmen; will learn the hunting skills from the Bushmen, and their normal way of life in the bush.
Day 3 : Ngorongoro Crater
After early breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After this we will visit a Maasai Boma. Then after lunch we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Often referred to as the 'eighth natural wonder of the world' the Ngorongoro Conservation Area combines some of the best wildlife and scenery the country has to offer with the culture of its Maasai inhabitants and the history of its archaeological sites. The conservation area covers 8288 sq km, embracing the eastern half of the Serengeti Plains, highland plateaus, volcanic mountains, craters, gorges and is home to Ngorongoro Crater - the breathing central attraction.
Day 4 : Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti
On this day, leave for the Serengeti. The mere mention of the word ‘Serengeti’ conjures up images of amazing African wildlife wandering endless, treeless plains. Kopjes, which appear like islands in the sea of grass, and Acacia lined rivers, complete the picture.
Day 5 : Serengeti
Game Drive at the Western Corridor, depending where the migration of the Wildebeest and Zebra’s takes place at that very moment. The pinnacle of the Serengeti immortality is the wildebeest migration. It is beyond description when the Serengeti plains witness flying hooves and dust as hundreds of thousands of gnus and zebra, race against the skyline in their annual migration that covers over 800 km. It all starts suddenly in late May or early June, depending on weather, when wildebeest move away from the short grass plains between the Ngorongoro highlands and Seronera and spread to the southern plains. This spectacle can be viewed from the ground, but it is an awesome sight from the sky in a hot air balloon.
Day 6 : Departure Serengeti to Arusha
Today, we drive back to Arusha dropping you at the Airport for your outbound flight. OR you may wish to add an additional night in Arusha
