Meghalaya, meaning "abode of clouds," is a picturesque state in northeastern India known for its rolling hills, misty valleys, and cascading waterfalls. It is famous for Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth, and Mawsynram, known for recording the highest rainfall. Meghalaya's Khasi, Garo, and Jaintia tribes preserve their unique customs, languages, and matrilineal society. The state is also renowned for its living root bridges, formed by training the roots of trees over centuries to create natural bridges.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Day 1 : Guwahati Arrival and Stay

  Arrival at Guwahati Airport in the night around 8 pm . Our representative will pick you and then you will transfer to Guwahati hotel. And check-in at the hotel. Overnight at Guwahati.

• Day 2 : Day 2 : Guwahati to Shillong and Shillong Local Sightseeing

  After your breakfast ,proceed to Shillong. En-route visit: Borapani Umiam Lake, Located about 17 km from Shillong, Umium Lake, surrounded by beautiful hills and a picturesque location is highly refreshing. It has water-sports facilities and the nearby Nehru Park has an Aviary and Orchidarium. Arrive at Shillong and check-in at the hotel. Then Shillong sight-seeing - Don Bosco Museum, the Cathedral Church, Lady Hydri Park and Ward's Lake.

• Day 3 : Day 3 : Shillong to Cherrapunji ( Garden Of Caves ) .

  After Breakfast in the morning, we will Proceed to Cherrapunji 56 Km From Shillong , En-Route visit E lephant falls, later the wettest place on the earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limetone caves & Orange honey. Visit Mawsmai Cave, Arwa Cave, Garden of Caves , Watch the Dain-Thlen falls, Noh-Kalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls, Seven sister fall & also drive to the , and return back to your hotel in Cherrapunjee .

• Day 4 : Day 4 : Mawlynnong, Dawki - - Umangot River - Stay .

  Next morning after Breakfast, you will be taken to Mawlynnlong. Mawlynnlong is known for being the cleanest village in Asia and also it has a living root bridge. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. The local people net the roots with each other to form a ropeway like structure which after about 100 years becomes strong enough to be used as a bridge to cross the hilly streams. After the sightseeing you will be on your way to Dawki, which has the clearest river water in Asia. . Dawki is located on the border between India and Bangladesh. It is really hard to ignore the crystal clear water of the Umngot River. Boat ride in this pristine river is a major tourist attraction. Travellers enjoy being part of this magnificent scenery and enjoy nearby sights and sounds. Soothing natural beauty of this town and rushing water of Umngot River is a perfect combination for all kinds of visitors either looking for peace or for an adrenaline rush through adventure. After DAWKI you will be on your way back to the hotel. Overnight in Mawlynnong

  After Breakfast Proceed to jowai visit laitlum canyon View Point ,Krang suri fall , Nartiang Monoliths , Evening back to Shillong and overnight stay in Shillong .

  Morning After Breakfast Check- out from the hotel and After proceed to Guwahati If time permits Visit Maa Kamakhya Devi Temple and Balaji Temple . Then transfer to Airport/ Guwahati Railway Station to catch the flight or board the train for onward Destination .
