a transfer to the hotel.
Check in at the hotel/resort.
Evening is free to go & discover the local
beauty of Gangtok.
Do visit the beautiful M. G. Marg(on your
own). *
Overnight stay in hotel at Gangtok.
The M. G. Marg is the town centre of
Gangtok. It is lined up with glittering shops,
restaurants, bars and cafes on both sides. All
buildings of this road are painted green.
After breakfast, day excursion to the
beautiful Tsomgo Lake. *
Travel to Baba Mandir *, another 17 km
beyond Tsomgo Lake.
Head back to Gangtok.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Tsomgo Lake is an oval shaped glacial lake.
It is home to brahminy ducks & several
migratory birds.
Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is popularly
known as Baba Mandir. This temple was
made in the memory of an Indian Army
soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh.
[ Optional Visit to Nathula Pass ]
Drive to Lachen * (9500 ft.) via
Chungthang town.
Lunch in the mid-way on own.
Transfer to the hotel after reaching
Lachen.
Have dinner & enjoy your stay at Lachen.
Lachen is a village in North Sikkim
surrounded by snow capped peaks and
beautiful alpine meadows. Its natural beauty
and serene vegetation are worth
commending and it is believed to be one of
the most noteworthy and popular places for
Buddhist pilgrims & tourists.
Start early at 5 am, morning breakfast at
Thangu.
Proceed for excursion trip through the
Kanchenjunga National Park(admission
non-permissible) to Gurudongmar Lake. *
Witness the beauty of the lake & then
return to Lachen.
Post lunch, transfer to Lachung.
Enjoy your dinner & stay at Lachung.
Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest
lakes in the world. It is considered as a
sacred lake and is encircled by snow
covered mountains.
After breakfast, start off for Yumthang
Valley (valley of flowers). *
On the way back from the valley, visit Hot
Spring.
Back to resort for lunch & then transfer to
Gangtok.
Enjoy your stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast, proceed for NJP station /
Bagdogra station (IXB) in morning.
Board your train / flight for your
destination.
Have a great journey towards your
hometown.
