Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : pick clients from the airport to nairobi hotel [or to nanyuki town if the flight arrives in the morning]

  real outreach mission tours staff meets you at the airport and drives nairobi hotel[ or nanyuki hotel if the flight is in the morning]. meals and accommondation in the hotel.

• Day 2 : nairobi to mountain kenya national park

  after breakfast drive towards mount kenya national park with stop overs including equator and nanyuki town where we meet our crew [guide,cook and porters].
  we drive further through sirimon route to sirimon park gate [2675 meters above sea level].
  after lunch, have acclimatization walk for 3-4 hours to old moses camp[3300 meters] .this hiking is very important for the hikers for it prepares them for the trekking in high altitudes.
  dinner and overnight in the camp.

• Day 3 : old moses camp to shiptons camp

  after breakfast hike the moorland through the mackinders valley to shiptons camp[4200 meters]. the hiking takes 7-8 hours and we have parked lunch.
  hiking is easy pace in readiness to the high altitude ahead.
  dinner and overnight in the camp. this day we have our dinner early so that trekkers can have enough rest and be ready for the next day`s ascent to the summit[peak lenana- 4895 meters].

• Day 4 : shiptons camp to met station camp

  pre-dawn [03;00 am] ascend the summit peak lenana 4985 meters ,ascending takes 6 hours [from and to next camp]. trekkers are supposed to be at the summit at or before sunrise for after that it becomes cold and chilly.on a clear day mt.kilimanjaro in tanzania and indian ocean among others are visible.
  later descend the western route through the teleki valley to mackinders camp 4200 meters for short rest and further descend to met station camp [3030 meters] for dinner and overnight at lower altitude.

• Day 5 : met station camp to nairobi hotel

  after breakfast descend the true forest to naromoru park gate [1875 meters] for transfer to nairobi .here have a time to bid bye to our crew .
