Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Darjeeling

  Our tour representative will meet and greet you at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). You will be transferred to Darjeeling by car. Darjeeling is an amazing hill station with scenic beauty, sloping tea gardens and breath-taking view of the Himalayas. This glorious hill station also boast of a renewed world heritage site also popular as The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR). Check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure activities and shopping on the Mall. Overnight stay will be in Darjeeling.

• Day 2 : Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing

  Early Morning (3:45 AM) drive to Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit /Token from the respective authority)to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak. On the way, explore primitive forests of oak and other scenic views. On the way back to Darjeeling, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial and Batasia Loop. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, relax in the room for half an hour. After breakfast ( delete – written twice), proceed for next round of sightseeing, visit the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda. Return back to the hotel. Evening free to roam around and indulge in shopping. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Kalimpong

  Morning breakfast at the hotel, followed by a drive to Kalimpong. Kalimpong is another jewel of a hill station, with great views of the Himalayas, colourful people and shopping markets. Arrival at Kalimpong, check in at the hotel. Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durbin Monastery, Mangaldham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). Return back to the hotel in Kalimpong. Evening free for leisure activities and shopping in local market. Overnight stay will be in Kalimpong.

• Day 4 : Gangtok

  Breakfast at the hotel, further transfer to Gangtok with a 105 kms drive. Gangtok is the capital city of Sikkim with a wide variety of sightseeing attractions for the tourist. There are Monasteries, shopping markets and scenic views of the Himalayas one can explore while in Gangtok. Afternoon and evening free for leisure activities and local shopping. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing

  Morning breakfast at the hotel. Begin a city tour of Gangtok, visit the following places of tourist interest including Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point and Banjhakri Falls. Return back to the hotel. In evening, free time to relax and unwind, you can also opt for local shopping. Explore the nearest Discotheques is also a unique idea. Overnight stay will be in Gangtok

• Day 6 : Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

  Breakfast at the hotel. Begin an excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. These two attractions are worth visiting while in Sikkim. Tsomgo Lake is a fascinating attraction to visit for tourist. Covered by snow in most seasons of the year, Tsomgo Lake is home to many migratory birds. Another nearby attraction is the Baba Mandir, a spiritual site for the visitors. Visit Nathu La Pass Permit Charges for Nathula Pass extra @ Rs.7000 (Approx) per vehicle for max 6 guests and confirmation of permit is subject to approval from government authorities. and border in Republic of China (20 kms) is another option for you. Return back to Gangtok. Evening free to roam around on MG Road (Mall). Overnight stay will be in Gangtok (Incase of Landslides or due to any other reason, if Tsomgo Lake is closed, then alternative sightseeing will be provided).

• Day 7 : Departure - Gangtok to Siliguri - Siliguri

  Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). The journey takes around 4-5 hours and is a pleasant experience for the tourist. Guest are advised to start early in the morning. Board a flight/train for your return journey.
