What to Expect
Please note hotels provided shall be located in outskirts of cities (usually 18 - 25 km from city center). Maximum room occupancy in Europe is 3 persons in a room.
As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room.
Please note hotels in Europe don't provide free water bottles. Tap water is usually drinkable across Europe.
Please note we provide one stop flight to Helsinki but return from Rovaniemi to India may be a 2 stop flight (except DEL).
All airlines provided will include 30 Kg of check-in baggage and in-flight meals.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Helsinki

  Upon arrival at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, you will transfer directly to your hotel in Helsinki. In the evening, you'll spend some time at Senate Square, a historic and cultural hub of Helsinki. The square is surrounded by notable buildings such as the Government Palace and the University of Helsinki, all designed by the architect Carl Ludvig Engel. The square often hosts events and markets, making it a vibrant place to experience the local culture. For dinner, you’ll enjoy a meal at a local Indian restaurant. After dinner, you’ll return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay, ready to explore more of Helsinki in the coming days. (Dinner)

  After enjoying breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel in Helsinki and transfer to the enchanting Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort. Known for its stunning natural surroundings and unique accommodations, this resort is situated in the heart of Finnish Lapland. Upon arrival, you’ll check in and settle into your accommodation. Lunch on your own. Later we have time to visit the Kakslauttanen Planetaurium where you can see a 30- minute film about the northern lights in the 180-degree planetarium dome. As evening falls, you'll have dinner at the resort’s restaurant, where you can enjoy a hearty meal amidst the cozy ambiance of the Arctic environment. After dinner, prepare for an unforgettable experience: viewing the Northern Lights (subject to weather and availability). Later, the excitement continues with a Northern Lights Hunting excursion by bus. This guided tour will take you to the best spots where you’ll have the opportunity to witness the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis dancing across the night sky. • Day 4 : Transfer from Ivalo to Rovaniemi (4 hours) - Visit the Arktikum Science Museum

  After having breakfast and checking out from your accommodation, you will be transferred from Ivalo to Rovaniemi, the vibrant capital of Finnish Lapland. Known as the gateway to the Arctic, Rovaniemi offers a rich blend of modern culture and traditional Lappish heritage. Upon arrival, you’ll head straight to the Arktikum Museum, a fascinating institution that provides deep insights into the history, culture, and environment of the Arctic region. The museum features engaging exhibits on the Sami people, the natural world of the Arctic, and the effects of climate change on this fragile ecosystem. Following your museum visit, you’ll have dinner at an Indian restaurant. After dinner, you’ll proceed to your hotel in Rovaniemi for an overnight stay. This well-known zoo houses a variety of Arctic and Nordic animals, including polar bears, lynxes, and reindeer. Alternative to Rauna Wildlife Zoo you can opt for the Polar Icebreaker Cruise (operational between Jan - March only) at extra cost which offers a 3 hours cruise in the frozen water of Bothnian sea in Lapland. During 3 hours you will be a witness of a massive ice breaking power of the vessel, have a guided tour all the way down to the engine rooms and all way up to Captain’s bridge. After your chosen adventure, you'll have some free time to shop for local crafts, souvenirs, or enjoy leisure activities on your own in Rovaniemi. • Any Increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangements which may come in to effect prior to departure.
• Cost of pre or post tour hotel accommodation.
• Any extra expense such as route change, Airline change, Date change, Accommodation facilities, etc incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeuere circumstances during the tour.
• Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines & alcoholic beverages, items of personal nature and food or drink which is not part of a set group menu.

Important Notes

• General
• Please note the hotels used in the fixed departures are usually located in the outskirts of cities (typically 15 - 18 km) from the city center.
• All tours and transfers shall be done in a AC coach.
• Breakfasts served in the hotels shall be strictly continental breakfast only (unless mentioned otherwise).
• It is strictly not allowed to eat or drink in the coach. Please keep the coaches clean.
• There are no porters available in Europe, and passengers are expected to carry luggage themselves.
• The drivers, bell boy, hotel/restaurant staff, tour managers, waiters have to be treated with high respect and dignity through out the tour.
• Tipping is mandatory in Europe and in order to expect good service please ensure that the drivers and tour manager are tipped as per the tour (EUR 3 per person per day). The tips shall be collected by the tour manager during the tour directly.

• Please note flights provided will be one stop into Helsinki from India and 2 stops while returning from Rovaniemi.
• Booking amount or initial deposit is minimum Rs. 30,000 per person if booking is done 45 days before travel.
• Post Booking within 1 week an additional deposit of Rs. 45,000 per person needs to be paid.
• For travel within 45 days of travel minimum deposit of Rs. 75,000 per person needs to be paid at time of booking.
• Full 100% balance payment is required to be done 21 days prior to travel.
• Full payment must be made in accordance with the policy stated above.
• In case of non-compliance thereto by the client, the company reserves a right to cancel the tour /booking of the client and forfeit the amount already deposited with the Company.
• In case of any visa rejection, the cancellation charges will be Rs. 40,000 per person and the balance will be refunded.
• Passport should be valid for 6 months from the date of departure.
• The Tour can be cancelled 30 days before travel by paying 10% of the tour value as cancellation charges.
• Within 15 days - 30 days of travel the tour can be cancelled by paying 50% of the cancellation charge.
• Within 15 days the tour is completely non-refundable.
• International Check in time is 1500 hours / Check out time is 1100 hours, early check in and check-out is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
• For guaranteed check-in; charges equivalent to 1 night stay will be applicable.
• Tours will operate subject to all Government regulations
