• Day 1 : Airport - Srinagar

  Distance : 10 KM from Srinagar
  
  After Airport pickup, check out from the Hotel and set out for Srinagar Sightseeing. Srinagar is the heart of Kashmir Valley. With the Himalayan Mountain Range forming a picturesque backdrop, the sparkling Dal Lake and the rows of colorful houseboats and shikaras on it, makes Srinagar a beautiful attraction. Lal Chowk, is the commercial hub in the Srinagar City while as old city in the Srinagar boats of monuments, old structures, heritage sites, centuries old shrines. Some of the top popular tourist attractions are Mughal Gardens, Hari Parbat Fort, Chashme Shahi Garden and Pari Mahal, Dal Lake, Nigeen Lake, , Hazratbal Shrine, etc.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Gulmarg

  After Breakfast, set out for Gulmarg Sightseeing. Gulmarg is primarily a ski resort where thousands of the skiers turn up during winter months. During summers, the Gulmarg Bowl turns up a Valley of flowers. Head towards Gondola – one of the prime attractions in the Gulmarg - that takes you to mountain peaks.Take a joy ride to Mount Kongdoori and Affarwat (14,403 ft) above the sea level, though Gulmarg Gondola. The highest cable car in the world. The Line of Control (LOC) is barely a few kilometers from here
  Note: Booking Gondola tickets online well in advance is advisable (Can be canceled for refund 03 days before the ride day. No cancellation is entertained on the same day.)Enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey, ice-skating, snow scooters, snow tubes, snow sledges etc.

• Day 3 : At Gulmarg

  After breakfast set out for sightseeing at Gulmarg .The visit to Kashmir is incomplete without visiting this peak from where once can see mountain ranges from Pakistan and Ladakh. The view from Apharwat Peak is impressive. On a clear day you can see our three neighbors in order of appearance from left to right,Nanga Parbat (8,126m),Harmukh (5,142m) and Nun Kun (7,135m- Ladakh).Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain on Earth, its summit at 8,126 m (26,660 ft) above sea level located in Gilgit– Baltistan, Pakistan.

• Day 4 : Gulmarg to Pahalgam

  After early breakfast Transfer to Pahalgam for 02 nights stay. Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. On the way visit Awantipura ruins, Saffron fields One of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Pahalgam offers breath-taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Lidderwat, Kolohoi Glacier or to Sonamarg. Pahalgam is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus.

  Aru Valley, Betab Valley, Chandanwari, Baisaran are away from Pahalgam and are not included in the package cost. The places can be covered at an additional cost to be paid by the guest directly to the service providers at Pahalgam. The service providers like union cabs or ponies are readily available for such destinations.

• Day 5 : At Pahalgam

  In Pahalgam Apart from being a pilgrimage site, Pahalgam is also a treat for adventure junkies and is the starting point for several treks. However, the highlight of the activities available for tourists is the white water rafting facility winding down the Lidder River through the forests and down the rapids,While shopping in Pahalgam, remember that there are only three banks with ATM machines (SBI, HDFC and J&K) and hawkers will ask for five times the rate of the product, so don’t forget to bargainHowever, the Kashmiri shawls, carpets and clothing with chain-stitch embroidery are beautiful and a must buy.

Important Notes

• Carry postpaid SIMs to Kashmir.
• Prepaid SIMs from outside JK don't work in Kashmir. Prepaid SIMs can be purchased at Srinagar Airport.
• Pack light woolens for temperatures dropping until the end of October, and switch to heavier woolens from November through March.
• No AC vehicle will be available on the drive to hillsides due to steep slope.
• Ask your travel agent for government fixed rates for various services not included in the package cost to avoid being charged extra.

• Union Taxi from Sonmarg to Zero point (Optional) - Rs. 3500 – 4000 per cab Sonmarg Trip is also subject to road and weather conditions during winter months.
