Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Srinagar and Drive to Sonamarg

  Morning: Arrive in Srinagar and meet the trek team. Afternoon: Drive to Sonamarg (approx. 3 hours), passing by lush valleys and rivers.
  Evening: Set up camp in Sonamarg

  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 2 : Sonamarg to Nichnai (11 km, 6-7 hours)

  Morning: Start the trek from Sonamarg to Nichnai, trekking through beautiful pine forests and crossing streams. Afternoon: Enjoy lunch en route and continue trekking through green meadows, known as Tabletop. Evening: Arrive at the Nichnai campsite, set up tents, and enjoy a hot meal.

• Day 3 : Nichnai to Vishansar Lake (12 km, 6-7 hours)

  Morning: Begin trekking towards the breathtaking Nichnai Pass (13,500 ft).
  Midday: Enjoy panoramic views from the pass and descend toward Vishansar Lake, one of the highlights of the trek.
  Evening: Set up camp by Vishansar Lake and relax with a peaceful view of the serene waters.

• Day 4 : Nichnai to Vishansar La (12 km, 6-7 hours)

  Acclimatization Day at Vishansar Lake
  Morning: Explore the area around Vishansar Lake or take a short hike to nearby Krishansar Lake.

  Evening: Spend time soaking in the beautiful surroundings and preparing for the next leg of the trek.

• Day 5 : Vishansar to Gadsar via Gadsar Pass (10 km, 5-6 hours)

  Morning: Begin a challenging ascent to Gadsar Pass (13,800 ft), the highest point of the trek.

  Afternoon: Descend to the lush Gadsar Valley, where you'll set up camp by Gadsar Lake.
