Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to relax and prepare for your safari adventure.
Day 2 : Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. This park is a crucial part of the migration cycle, hosting up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras annually. Enjoy a game drive with a picnic lunch by the river and explore the diverse wildlife before heading to your lodge for the night.
Day 3 : Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park via Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend from the highlands into the vast grasslands of the Serengeti, arriving in the Seronera area known for its abundant wildlife. Enjoy a game drive and picnic lunch in the park before checking into your lodge at Nyani Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Start the day with an early breakfast and embark on a journey to Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, visit a Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. Afterward, descend into the crater, home to over 30,000 animals including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool and continue your game drive before heading to Simba Public Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Ngorongoro Crater to Materuni Waterfalls
After breakfast, drive to Materuni Village for a unique cultural and natural experience. Trek to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, nestled in the lush rainforest. Enjoy a guided tour of a local coffee plantation, where you will learn about traditional coffee processing methods and taste freshly brewed coffee. Return to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and a restful night.
Day 6 : Materuni to Arusha and Departure
After breakfast, transfer back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore the city or do some last-minute shopping. Finally, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
