Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi to Shimla (7-8Hrs)

Travel by surface from Delhi to Shimla

Shimla: former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas; it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities.

Arrive Shimla Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure, evening enjoy at mall road. Later back to the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shimla.

Day 2 : Shimla -Kufri- Shimla (24 kms.)

After breakfast visit to half day city tour visiting Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Sankat Mochan Temple and Jakhu temple,

Afternoon visit to excursion tour of Kufri

KUFRI: India's one of the best holiday paradises, Kufri in Shimla is beautifully tucked at an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town –“THE MALL & THE RIDGE” This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the neo- gothic structure of Christ Church and the neo - Tudor library building - are worth seeing. Overnight stay at Shimla.( GREEN VALLEY, WILDFLOWER HALL, KUFRI, INDIRA TOURIST PARK, MINI ZOO & FAGU VALLEY )

Day 3 : Shimla –Kullu– Manali (350 kms / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast checkout from hotel, drive to Manali, On the way you can see Sunder Nagar Lake, Hanogi Mata Temple & Pandoh Dam visit.

Manali: at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station situated on the Beas River

Arrive at Manali and check in the hotel, Rest of the day is at leisure to visit the local markets and overnight stay at the hotel at Manali.

Day 4 : Manali Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy the city tour visiting some of the prominent spots and attractions including:

Hadimba Temple: -Far away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the peaceful Hadimba (Hidimba) temple is surrounded by towering deodar trees. It is also known as the Dhungri Temple, as it is located inside the Dhungri forest. Mythology lovers must visit this temple as it is dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhima, one of the five Pandavas prince from the great Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple has a four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and its doorway is engraved with legendary figures and symbols.

Van Vihar: Van Vihar is run and maintained by the municipal corporation of the city, Van Vihar National Park, is located near the mall Road making it easily accessible. The favorite attraction of this park is a man-made lake that is open for boating.

Vashisht Hot Water Springs and Temples: - Located at a distance of 3 kms from Manali, there is a small village called Vashisht. It is situated on the left bank of river Beas towards Solang Valley. This village is known for its natural hot Sulphur springs and temples. Locals and tourists take a dip in the spring because of its medicinal properties. There are two separate bathing tanks built for men and women, along with a modern bathroom with Turkish style showers fitted baths. To avoid tourist rush and enjoy some privacy, one should go early in the morning.

Club House: - Located at a distance of 2 kms from Manali, the club house is an amusement zone. It has indoor game facilities and is situated on the left bank of river Manalsu Nallah. The structure of Club House finds resemblance from British style of architecture. It is managed by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) and offers avenue for playing popular indoor games such as carom, table tennis, Karting and skating. Tourists can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with some delicious snacks from their in-house restaurant. Adventure freaks can indulge in river crossing which can be done by ropeway. Note: cab going till parking, you can self visit).

Day 5 : Manali – Solang Valley

Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and later get ready for an excursion to visit Solang Valley.

Solang Valley: -Located at a distance of 13 kms from Manali, Solang Valley lies between Solang village and Beas Kund. It offers a beautiful view of glaciers and snowcapped mountains. Since the valley has fine ski slopes, it is a perfect place for skiing. The guest house of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali is based here. This institute is the venue for winter skiing festival and also offers training in skiing to the tourists. In winter, the valley becomes a skiing paradise with children of all ages slipping and sliding over the fresh white snow. When snow melts in the summer, skiing is replaced by parachuting, zorbing, paragliding and horse riding. (Any adventure activities (all activities are direct basis).

Anjani Mahadev Temple: (optional) Anjani Mahadev is located in Manali. Make Anjani Mahadev a centerpiece of your Manali vacation itinerary In the heart of Solang Valley, lies this majestic formation of ice that appears out of the thin air every year Anjani Mahadev Icy Shiva Lingam forms from October to March. This manifestation of Shiva is attributed to the penance of Anjani, Mother of Hanuman

After enjoying the outing, returned to the hotel for a dinner and overnight stay at Manali.

Day 6 : Manali – Delhi (13-14Hrs)

Morning enjoy breakfast and check out from the hotel and you can take a stroll down the mall in Manali and enjoy shopping for antiques, shawls and handicrafts (Own Cost). Later drive to Ambala and drop.
