Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Guwahati airport/railway station

  Check-in into the cab and move towards
  Shillong. Travel to the Don Bosco museum and get a peek into the culture, people and places
  in North East India. Travel to nearby places. Spend evening in and around Shillong city. Night
  stay at hotel.

• Day 2 : Travel to Cherrapunji

  Experience this day traveling in and around
  Cherrapunji. Visit various Waterfalls, explore the caves and experience awe inspiring view
  points. Night spent at the homestay in Cherrapunji.

• Day 3 : Trek to Nongriat village

  After a good breakfast, travel to the starting point of the trek to Nongriat village, well
  known for establishing and maintaining the UNESCO world heritage tentatively listed natural
  double decker root bridge. Experience the majestic blue water ponds and waterfalls nearby.
  Soak in the vibes of the forest and hear stories of life and culture by talking with the local
  people. Nights spent at homestay in Nongriat village.

• Day 4 : Explore Nature

  After breakfast, start trekking to Rainbow waterfall by passing through the root bridge
  and forest trails. On the way you will also pass by a serene blue water pond. Depending on the
  water level and the season, you can swim and take a bath in the pond formed by the waterfall.
  After spending some time, return to the homestay. Pick up your luggage and start the return trek
  to Cherrapunjee. By evening reach your homestay

• Day 5 : Proceed to Mawlynnong

  Mawlynnong
