Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin to Munnar

  Board your flight as per the schedule and arrive in Cochin. On arrival, meet our representative at the Cochin Airport. In the afternoon proceed for Munnar, On the way visit Cheeyapara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Spice plantations etc
  Munnar: Breathtakingly beautiful, Munnar is a heaven of peace and tranquility. The idyllic tourist destination in God's Own Country, set at an altitude of 6000 feet in Idukki district, Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Its unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, the aroma of spice scented cool air, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wildlife sanctuaries and forests Munnar boasts of all these and more. It's the place you would love to visit and never wish to leave.
  Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to the hotel and spend time at leisure. You may go to visit the local market in the evening (on your own) and buy aromatic tea from the shops here. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Munnar Sightseeing

  After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations. The museum is closed on Monday). Also visit Eravikulam National Park to get a view of variety of flora and fauna. Also visit Echo Point and Mattupetty Dam. In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Munnar to Thekkady

  After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival there, check into the hotel and have lunch (personal expense). In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake in Thekkady, which is synonymous with wildlife and nature treks. In the evening, visit the theatre arena to have a firsthand experience of arts and crafts through the traditional Kalari Show. After that, you can either shop in the local market or opt for an elephant ride (on direct payment basis) in the evening. Return to the hotel in the evening, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Thekkady to Alleppy

  Travel to Alleppey and embark on a houseboat cruise through the backwaters. Enjoy the serene surroundings, watch village life, and savor traditional Kerala cuisine on the houseboat. Overnight in Allepey.

• Day 5 : Alleppy to Trivandrum

  After having breakfast check-out of the hotel and proceed towards Trivandrum. On the way hault at Trivandrum, where you could enjoy your lunch. Later enjoy sightseeing of the places including Kuthiramalika (Puthemalika) Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Thiruvananthapuram Observatory, Kanakakunnu Palace, Sri Ananthapadmanabhaswami temple. Later in the evening proceed to Kovalam. On arrival, check-in at your beach resort and relax. Enjoy the sunset from the beautiful beach of Kovalam. Overnight in Trivandrum.

• Day 6 : Trivandrum to Kanyakumari

  Enjoy your breakfast and depart for Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is famous as the place of union of the three oceans - The Arabian sea, Bay of Bengal and the Indian ocean as well as for Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Mahatma Gandhi memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Vivekananda was a social reformer and saint of modern India. He is supposed to have meditated on the rock where the memorial stands. Ferry service is available to reach the rock memorial which was built in 1970. Enjoy Kanyakumari, the boat trip to the memorial and the beach during the day and sunset in the evening. Return to the hotel in Trivandrum for overnight stay.

  Post early breakfast, receive transfer to the cochin Airport for journey back home.
