Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG (100 kms)

Welcome on arrival at GUWAHATI AIRPORT. We will meet you over there. Have a quick meal if you wish and then proceed towards THE MAA KAMAKHYA TEMPLE located in THE
NILACHAL HILLS of GUWAHATI. Upon reaching do the temple darshan and take blessings. Later start your journey towards MEGHALAYA, known as SCOTLAND OF THE EAST. Enjoy your journey to MEGHALAYA. On the way stop by the UMIAM LAKE (BARAPANI LAKE), enjoy the spectacular view and click some selfie. You can also do some activities here like Boating, Jet skiing over the lake. Later reach SHILLONG and check in to the hotel. Get refreshed . Evening you will be visiting the famous POLICE BAZAAR of SHILLONG known for its nightlife , shopping and famous eateries.

Day 3 : SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJEE (60kms)

In the morning, after breakfast checkout and head to explore the wettest place on Earth, CHERRAPUNJEE. Come across several waterfalls, limestone caves, striking root bridge, and other natural sites to provide several activities. On the way you can do Ziplining activity in Mawkdok dympep valley if you want. Later visit the Spectacular Seven Sisters Falls ,Nohkalikai falls, Dianthlen falls, The Wah Kaba falls, The Mawsmai Cave , the Arwah Cave, The Garden of caves, Krem Mawmluh cave , Ecko Park , etc..

Day 4 : DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE & RAINBOW WATERFALLS / NONGRIAT TREK

Early morning after breakfast our driver will take you to TYRNA VILLAGE . Carry / Buy some essentials like water bottles, breads or biscuits. Then head for Double Decker Root Bridge (2hours 40 minutes DOWN trekking in Double Decker root bridge. After reaching and sightseeing in double decker root bridge head for Rainbow water falls 1 hour trekking from double decker root bridge. Enjoy some
time in the RAINBOW WATERFALLS (BLUE LAGOON) , where the water is blue and it reflects a rainbow. Later start you return trek. Climb back the 3000 steps. Our cab will be waiting at the starting point. Reach your hotel / resort and take rest.

Day 5 : DAWKI AND MAWLYNNONG

In the morning, after breakfast, head for Mawlynnong/Mawlynnong Village, located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. From Mawlynnong one can see the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Later also visit THE RIWAI LIVING ROOT BRIDGE (SINGLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE) .After some time we travel for Dawki in the East Jaintia Hills, on arrival is the Umngot River where the water is crystal clear and is said to be one of the clearest river in India. The journey from Mawlynnong to Dawki is thrilling and scenic as we pass through lush green valleys and waterfalls peddling down from every corner of the hills. You can do activities like boating, cliff jumping in Dawki.

Day 6 : KRANGSHURI WATERFALLS , LAITLUM GRAND CANYON

In the morning after breakfast checkout and visit-

KRANGSHURI WATERFALLS- KRANGSHURI WATRFALLS located in West Jaintia Hills, is the most magical waterfalls. A heady mix of natural hues created by sparkling sunshine on shimmering blue waters makes this fall a must-visit. The colour of the plunge pool will leave you gasping for breath. It is the most gorgeous shade of deep, copper sulphate blue –making the whole scene look like something straight out of a wonderland.

LAITLUM GRAND CANYON- Upon reaching enjoy the views of valleys located down below from above there. Laitlum is one of the most picturesque location in the entire north-east

Evening reach SHILLONG and checkin to the hotel. Later you can visit THE POLICE BAZAAR again.

Day 7 : MAWPHLANG SACRED FOREST AND GUWAHATI AIRPORT DROP

After arriving in MAWPHLANG, you will be going to see one of the reserved Sacred Forests of the area which are under protection by religious sanctions. The MAWPHLANG SACRED FOREST lies at a distance of 25
km from Shillong. This grove is known to be the home of many amazing plants, flowering trees, orchids, butterflies and many other types of Flaura and Fauna. Actvities includes forest trail, visit the KHASI HERITAGE VILLAGE and experience KHASI way of life, you can also checkout some MONOLITHS there. Later return to GUWAHATI for your return journey. Our driver will drop you at your preferred
location ( GUWAHATI AIRPORT) and your journey ends in a happy note. . .
