Day 1 : Arrive at Paro airport I Transfer to Thimphu I Thimphu Half Day Sightseeing
Pick-up from Paro airport & transfer (65 kms – 1.15 hrs drive) to Thimphu. Pari Airport is one of the smallest and beautiful airport, before landing one can have a breathtaking view of Himalayan ranges from the flight.
Check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Tashichho dzong ( Outside view), National Memorial Chorten, Government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts shops.
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 2 : Thimphu Full Day Sightseeing
Thimphu is the only capital city of the world without any traffic signal. The traffic policeman stands at busy intersection to manage the traffic and all the vehicle mover so smooth and organizedly one can never believe that it doesn’t have a single traffic signal.
After breakfast visit to
Takin Preserve - A wildlife reserve area for Takin, the national animal of Bhutan.
Buddha Point - One of the largest Buddha Statue in the world, at 169 feet (52 m) and contains 100,000 8-inch-tall and 25,000 12-inch-tall gilded bronze Buddhas.

Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha /Wangdue via Dochula pass
After permit ( Permit is not issued on Saturdays, Sundays & Govt holidays) drive (70 kms / 2.30 hrs) to Punakha/Wangdue, en route halt at Dochu La Pass (3,100 meters), the pass is a popular location among tourists as it offers a stunning 360 degree panoramic view of Himalayan mountain range. The view is especially scenic on clear, winter days with snow-capped mountains forming a majestic backdrop to the tranquility of the 108 chortens gracing the mountain pass.
Enroute visit Chimi Lakhang, Punakha Dzong and Suspension Bridge.
Overnight stay at Punakha/Wangdue
Day 4 : Excursion to Phobjikha Valley
After breakfast excursion to Gangtey & Phobjikha- [alt. 3000m] : The valley of Gangtey is one of the most beautiful spots in Bhutan. The surprise of finding such a wide, flat valley without any trees after the hard climb through dense forests is augmented by an impression of vast space. On the valley floor lays the village of Phobjikha. This place is the winter home of black necked cranes that migrate from the arid plains in the north to pass winter in milder and lower climate. Phobjikha,at an altitude of 2900 m, falls under the district of Wangduephodrang and lies on the periphery of the Black Mountain National Park. Return at Punakha.
Overnight stay at Punakha/Wangdue.
Day 5 : Punakha to Paro I Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast, transfer to Paro & visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong which has a long and fascinating history. While getting back stop at. Later visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom and Tiger’s Nest View Point and Paro Brewery Factory. Return at hotel.
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6 : Excursion to Chele La
Morning drive to Chele-la - The highest motorable point in Bhutan. After driving through blue pine & rhododendron forest for 45 km, reach Chele-la pass ( 4200 meters). From this point one can have a superb view of Mount-Jhumolhari & Jichu Drakey. This is a very good place to walk around for enjoying the view. Later in the afternoon drive to Paro
Day 7 : Day hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery / Taktsang Monastery
Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site, located approximately 10 km north of Paro town at an altitude of 3.120 meters. In order to arrive at the temple visitors must trek for around 2-3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests. No trip to Bhutan would be complete without a visit to this remarkable world heritage site.
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 8 : Drop to Paro International Airport.
After Breakfast drop to Paro international airport.
