Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Nairobi Arrival and Overnight Stay

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure, recovering from your journey or exploring.
Optional activities like a visit to the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum (at an extra cost). Dinner can be arranged at the hotel or a recommended restaurant(own expense) Overnight: Concord Hotel or similar

Day 2 : Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Spot wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and giraffes in this breathtaking park. Optional Tour: Visit a Maasai village to experience traditional Maasai culture (extra cost). Overnight: Sentrim Amboseli or similar.

Day 3 : Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy the park’s unique co system, including its swamps and open plains, offering excellent photographic opportunities. In between drives, relax at the lodge. Overnight: Amboseli Sentrim Lodge or similar.

Day 4 : Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon enjoying the serene surroundings , prepare for afternoon boat ride. return back to hotel for dinner and overnight at the hotel. You can also visit Crescent Island for a walking safari. Overnight: Lake Naivasha Kongoni or similar.

Day 5 : Naivasha to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After an early breakfast, drive to the iconic Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in this wildlife-rich reserve, famous for the Big Five and its rolling savannah Overnight: Sentrim Mara or similar.

Day 6 : Full Day in Maasai Mara

Spend the day exploring Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness the abundant wildlife, including predators and herbivores, and if lucky, spot a hunt or a river crossing. Between game drives, relax at the lodge. Optional Tour: Hot air balloon safari with a champagne breakfast & Masai Village Tour (extracost). Overnight: Sentrim Mara or similar.

Pricing Notes

The rates are per person sharing based on number of 6 pax per vehicle. Rates are priced as per usd ($)
SRS is applicable over and above the per adult sharing rate (2pax rate) when a room is occupied by 1 Adult, whether alone or sharing with a child/ren.
The rate for the Single Room Supplement (SRS) has to be added to the cost of per person sharing rate on 2 pax column.
Cut off (Till how many days before we can book package); 1 week prior, subject to hotel and/ or vehicle availability.
Rooms to open for selling as per according to respective hotel availability.
Child Sharing with Adult Rate remains the same whether with bed or with no bed. Hotels will provide a maximum of 1 extra bed per roomie the maximum configuration of a room will be either 3 single beds, or a double bed and an extra (single) bed.
Infant under 2yrs sharing with Adults: Foc (Free of Charge).
Tours to start and end within the date bands indicated under the Period Column. If the tour extends to the next date band (season/period), kindly request for rates. Rates are exclusive of holiday’s supplement (Easter Holiday; 15th April -24TH April)

A Maximum of 2 Singles will be extended per group at Single Room Rate. Any additional Single rooms will be charged at double room rate.
All quotations are based on current Government Park Tariffs. Park fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Tourists’ Visa to Kenya should be applied for on-line on as manual visa on arrival is no longer available.
Personal travel insurance cover is recommended for all visitors to East Africa
Tourists’ Visas to Tanzania is available on arrival for most nationalities. Tanzania Visas can be applied for online for most nationalities
We shall NOT be liable for any excursions or extra services NOT booked through our office while on tour.
Please restrict baggage per person to 15 kilos if you are taking a domestic flight and 20 kilos if you are doing a road safari. Soft bags are preferable
It is mandatory for travelers returning to some countries from Tanzania to be in possession of a valid Yellow Fever Certificate; and currently a COVID vaccination certificate. As well, any one entering Tanzania should have a COVID negative PCR certificate taken less than 72hrs prior to arrival. Costs of any tests/vaccinations are NOT included in the quote above. Kindly reconfirmonthe requirements before confirming any booking.
Plastic bags are illegal in Kenya as we are on a positive effort to reduce the impact of plastics on our environment. The ban applies to:
Carrier bags with handles & with or without gussets.
Flat bags without handles & without gussets.
Please take note that if you are travelling to Kenya, plastic bags that match the abovedescription, including duty free bags, will be confiscated at the airport. There is howevera bigger risk that if anyone is caught using these plastic bags, the fine is Ksh. 4, 000, 000(approximately USD 38 000) or prison sentences of up to four years.
Single use plastic is not allowed in the Kenyan protected areas. Kindly bring along your refillable water bottles.

Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms & Methods : The Payment terms may dif er from the below depending on the respective suppliers. We will advise if this is the case. *
A 40% deposit is required to confirm a booking and we shall confirm receipt of payment though a stamped receipt.
Final Payment –the final payment must be received by Alika Adventures 90 days prior to the Date of Arrival.
Where bookings are made less than 90 days before the Date of Arrival, full payment must be made at the time of the booking.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :Low Season (01
Cancellations received less than 40 days prior to arrival will be subject to the following cancellation fees;
40 - 31 days is 30% of the tour cost
30 - 16 days is 50% of the tour cost
15 – 6 days is 75% of the tour cost
5 days – No Show is 100% of the tour cost

Shoulder Season (02nd January – 28th December)
Cancellations received less than 50 days prior to arrival will be subject to the following cancellation fees;
50 - 41 days is 30% of the tour cost
40 - 31 days is 50% of the tour cost
30 – 15 days is 75% of the tour cost
14 days – No Show is 100% of the tour cost

Peak Season (01st January)
Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to arrival will be subject to the following cancellation fees;
60 - 51 days is 35% of the tour cost
50 - 41 days is 50% of the tour cost
40 – 15 days is 75% of the tour cost
14 days – No Show is 100% of the tour cost

* The Customer may incur further cancellation charges from some Suppliers. These charges canvary depending on the cancellation policies of the respective suppliers.
