We combine the bush experience and the beach excursion for you. For your safari, we will take you to Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in Africa. With its stunning wildlife & untamed landscape, the Park offers visitors with unrivalled bush experience. For your time on the beach, the tropical islands of Zanzibar are calling your names!
- Upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport you will meet our driver who will transfer you to your Dar Es Salaam Sea Cliff Hotel located by the beach
- Given the long flight from your home country and the flight arrival time (international flights are not included as part of this package), once you are checked in at the hotel, you will unwind and rest
- Meals will be provided on a half board basis ( Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner ).

- After breakfast at approximately 9.00 AM, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you for a Dar es salaam day tour
- During this tour, you will visit many places of historical & cultural significance to the city and the country. You will also get a chance to see how locals go about their daily lives. The tour includes stops at independence tower, the Azania Front Church, Saint Joseph Cathedral, Askari Monument, The Fish Market, The National Museum, Kariakoo Market, Mwenge Wood Carvers Market and Makumbusho Village (where you will have a chance to learn about Tanzanian culture and practice your dance moves with Tanzania traditional dances)
- After the tour, you will return to your hotel to have lunch and rest
- Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

-After breakfast at approximately 7.30 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Dar Es Salaam and drive you directly to Nyerere National Park (Part of the largest Game Reserve in Africa)
-One big advantage of driving to Nyerere National Park (as opposed to flying) is you will get a chance to see the countryside. As you move away from metro Dar Es Salaam the scenery and landscape slowly change. You will get to see beautiful landscape as you pass through village after village and get to see villagers farming and go about their daily lives
-Upon arrival at Nyerere National Park, you will proceed to check in at your hotel
-At around 4.00 pm in the evening, you will depart for a sunset river boat safari along the great Rufiji river to spot hippos, crocodiles, birds and enjoy the spectacular sundown.

-Today after breakfast, you will depart early morning for an exciting full day safari with packed lunch out in the bush
-Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you for an exciting full-day game drive through the scenic and beautiful Nyerere National Park
-This is the moment you have been waiting for! This is your chance to get closer to nature and the majestic wild animals. You have a pretty good chance of seeing giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, zebras, cape buffaloes, kudus & countless other wild animals and birds. With a bit of luck and our guides deep expertise, you might be able to encounter lions, leopards etc
-During your game drive you will experience the feeling of exclusiveness as the park is huge and you will likely not see many other safari vehicles around
- Your game drive will end early evening. You may see more animals as you head back to your hotel/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

-In the early morning, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar
-Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will meet our driver who will transfer you to Marijani hotel
-After checking into your room, your curator will seat down with you to review your itinerary and plans for the following
days
-You will spend the rest of the day at the hotel relaxing at the beach or by the swimming pool.

-After breakfast at approximately 8:30am, you will visit (walking) Jozani Forest (a national park) which was declared a nature reserve in the 1960s. The Park is home to many endemic species of flora and fauna such as; red colobus monkeys, the magical world of the Zanzibar mangroves, bushbuck and impressive trees and plants
-Alternatively you could visit a spice farm to learn about the many spices the island of Zanzibar has been known for
-In the evening you and your partner will enjoy the traditional "romantic" Dhow Cruise dinner where you will also get to experience a variety of entertainment.

-Today you have two options for morning activities. After breakfast, you can either choose to go to the Nungwi Aquarium with our driver-guide to swim with turtles OR opt for a tour of the Maasai Village. The choice on which memories to create is yours. At the aquarium, you will get a chance to enjoy a unique experience by swimming with the majestic turtles at a small pond. At the Maasai “village” tour, you will be have an opportunity to interact with the people from this “nomadic” tribe as they proudly dance and share their culture and way of life with you.
At the conclusion of the morning activity, you will return to your hotel for lunch and brief rest.
-In the afternoon, you will depart for Stone Town for a cultural and historical tour of this world renowned UNESCO World Heritage site. Among other things you will make a quick stop at Freddie Mercury -Queens lead singer birth home which is now a museum.
-From Stone Town tour you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Time to sadly say goodbye. Today you will start your day with breakfast. Depending on how you booked your international flights, after breakfast, your driver will pick you up and drive you either to Zanzibar international airport for your international flight back home OR will take you to Ferry station for you to board a fast boat back to Dar Es Salaam. If you go with the second option, upon your arrival in Dar Es Salaam, a Duteni Tours driver will be waiting for you at the Dar Es Salaam Ferry. He will then transfer you to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your international flight back home. Kwaheri, until we meet again!
