Day 1 : Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by our Worldwide Safaris team and transferred to your comfortable accommodations in Arusha. Take some time to rest, acclimate to the altitude, and prepare for your upcoming adventure. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and briefing from your expert guides, setting the stage for your Kilimanjaro trek.

Day 2 : Machame Gate to Machame Camp

After breakfast, we'll drive to Machame Gate, the starting point of your Kilimanjaro trek. The trail ascends through a verdant rainforest, teeming with exotic birds and unique plant life. After several hours of hiking, you'll reach Machame Camp, nestled in a clearing surrounded by towering trees.

Day 3 : Machame Camp to Shira Camp

Today's trek takes you through the changing landscape of Kilimanjaro, as you ascend from the rainforest to the moorland zone. Today's hike is an important acclimatization day, as you ascend to Lava Tower (15,000 ft) before descending to Barranco Camp (13,000 ft).
