Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL

  Welcome to Ho Chi Minh city (Saigon), the busiest city of Vietnam !
  Arrival at Hanoi Airport: private transfer to your hotel by our driver. Check in your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

• Day 2 : HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNELS (B,L) Group Tour

  In the morning, you visit Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. The place symbolizes the end of Vietnam War when a North Vietnamese army tank went through its gates. Then taking a short stroll to see Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post Office, they are the beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period. Stopover at Ben Thanh market for your free shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
  Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
  After lunch, you visit Cu Chi tunnels. Located 60km from the city center, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. Start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).

• Day 3 : MY THO – BEN TRE (MEKONG DELTA) (B,L) – Group tour

  After breakfast, at 8:30, the tour guide and sharing van driver pick you up from your hotel. You depart for Mekong delta. After 2 hours driving, you arrive at My Tho city. Overview floating fish houses by boat. Motorized boat ride to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) of Ben Tre province. The province is home of coconut, you can buy handicraft made from coconut trees.
  Around 12:00 AM: Have lunch on the island with delicious local dishes.
  After lunch is the time to explore amazing Mekong canals. Motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre province. Visit orchards, bee-keeping house, enjoy honey tea, seasonal tropical fruit and traditional music.
  Rowing-boat ride along small mangrove palm creek (mangrove palm or Nypa-frutican known as "dừa nước" in Vietnam)
  See coconut candy production process. Around 3:00 PM: Get on the bus to come back Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back drop by Mekong Rest Stop for short break.

  Private airport transfer to Ho Chi Minh bus station for your onwards SIC bus Mekong Express to Phnom Penh.
  2 reststops are included. 1 immigration stop at Bavet border gate so that you can get Cambodian visa on arrival quickly.
  Upon arriving in Phnom Penh, you are warmly welcomed by our tour guide who will take you to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

• Day 5 : PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR (B) Group Tour

  Start your to the Wat Phnom, is the most significant of all the temples in Phnom Penh. This effect is a sanctuary founded by Daun Penh (Grandma Penh), a wealthy window who in 1372. The 27 meters high man-made hill became as Wat Phnom Daun Penh. Then continue to visit the National Museum. This is one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems. It house more than 14,000 items; the World’s largest collection of Khmer Art, including sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, and ethnographic objects dating from prehistoric times to periods before, during and after the Khmer Empire. The next is Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace of Cambodia is a complex of buildings although it is generally understood to be the royal abode of the King of Cambodia. We go for lunch at Friends Restaurant
  Afternoon, visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. Then continue tothe notorious Killing Fields "Choeung Ek" 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of who first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979).
