This is an 8-day Manang Trek Package for an amazing trip through stunning scenery in the Manang area. From Kathmandu, drive by bus or jeep to Besi Sahar from where the adventure actually begins. Passing through various traditional villages, including Chame and Pisang, lies the trek until reaching Manang-the largest town of the area. You'll spend a day getting used to the altitude in Manang hiking around nearby spots such as Bryaga village and Gangapurna Lake. After this break, you'll head back the way you came passing through Pisang and Chame to get to Besi Sahar. From there, you'll catch a ride back to Kathmandu. You'll stay in local guesthouses along the way, and the package includes transportation. You can even choose to have a local guide join you on the tour. This trek gives you a chance to soak in the Himalayan landscapes rich in local culture and breathtaking mountain views. It's the ideal way to explore Manang's beauty and peace.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kathmandu to Besi Sahar

  Your journey begins early in the morning as you depart from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar by bus or jeep, a 6-7 hour ride through picturesque landscapes. Besi Sahar is the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit, and once you arrive, you’ll check into a local hotel to rest. Afterward, you can explore the town, and prepare for your trek the following day.

• Day 2 : Besi Sahar to Chame

  Your second day begins with a trek from Besi Sahar to Chame, serving as the district headquarters of Manang. This trek can take about 7-8 hours. On this trek, you will have scenic beauty all around passing through different villages, pine woods, and alongside the Marsyangdi River. Reaching Chame, you can take it easy and view the village, which presents splendid views of peaks surrounding it. Overnight at a guesthouse preparing for the next day's hike.

• Day 3 : Chame to Pisang

  The next day, you continue your trek from Chame to Pisang (about 5-6 hours). The route offers mesmerizing views of Pisang Peak and other Himalayan peaks. As you ascend, the landscape begins to change, offering more spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Pisang is a beautiful village, and once you arrive, take the opportunity to explore and soak in the tranquility of the place.

  On Day 4, you trek from Pisang to Manang (about 5-6 hours). This part of the journey takes you through Upper Pisang, offering an even more breathtaking view of the Annapurna Range. Manang is known for its scenic beauty and is a great place to relax and prepare for your acclimatization day.

  Day 5 is dedicated to acclimatization. It’s important to rest and let your body adjust to the altitude before continuing your journey. Manang is also home to a small monastery and local shops, perfect for exploring at a relaxed pace. This day allows you to fully enjoy the beauty of the region and rest before the trek back.

  On Day 7, you trek back from Pisang to Chame (about 5-6 hours), following the same path but now descending, making the journey a little easier.   On the final day of your journey, you make your way back to Besi Sahar from Chame (approximately 6-7 hours). Afterward, take a bus or jeep back to Kathmandu, which will take around 6-7 hours. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you can take some time to relax, explore, or shop before wrapping up your trek.
