8 Days Coorg - Ooty with Coonoor - Kodaikanal Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bangalore

  Our Trawellzone chauffeur will welcome you from the Bangalore Airport/Railway Station and transfer to the Hotel. Check-In and after a refresh, drive to visit Vidhana Soudha, High Court, Cubbon Park, Vishveshwaraya Museum, ISKCON Temple, Lal Bagh, Tippu Sultan’s Palace, Bull Temple - One of the ancient temple built in the 16th Century. Return back to the hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Bangalore – Coorg (240kms & 6hrs Drive)

  After Breakfast check-out from Bangalore Hotel and proceed to Coorg. Check in to the hotel. Later, proceed for a half day sightseeing in Coorg. Visit Abbey Falls (the main attraction and breathtaking waterfall, that can be seen from a hanging bridge), Omakareshwara Temple (built in 1820), Madikeri Fort (was initially built as a mud fort in the 17th century, but rebuilt by Tipu Sultan) and Musical Fountain. Overnight stay at Coorg.

• Day 3 : Coorg Sightseeing

  After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit the Dubare Elephant Camp (Enjoy the experience of feeding, bathing and riding on Elephants), Golden Temple (built on Tibetan style of architecture and is one of the largest settlements of Tibetan population in India), Nisargadhama (cluster of islands formed by the river Cauvery, is a good experience to unwind and enjoy soft trekking). Night stay in Coorg

• Day 4 : Coorg – Ooty ( 230kms- 06 Hours drive)

  After breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Ooty on the way pass through Bandipur and Madumalai forest. Check in at the hotel as you arrive in Ooty. Evening free for shopping and other activities and overnight stay at Ooty.

• Day 5 : Ooty Sightseeing

  After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit Doddabeta Peak which is the highest peak of Ooty. From here you will get a very panoramic view of the neighboring regions. By noon back at Ooty town. Afternoon visit the famous Botanical garden built in 1847 and The Rose Garden, Lamb’s Rock, Government Museum, Ooty Lake were boating facility is available. Horse-back riding around the lake also is available. Evening visit Coonoor. Overnight at Ooty.

• Day 6 : Ooty – Kodaikanal (260 km- 06 Hours drive)

  After breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal. Check in to the hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 7 : Kodaikanal

  After breakfast proceed for half day local tour of Kodaikanal covering: Bryant Park, Coaker's walk, Pillar Rock, Green Valley View, Coaker's Walk and Suicide point. Evening visit Kodai Lake, the man-made star shaped lake, which spreads out over sixty acres. Evening return back to the hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 8 : Kodaikanal –Bangalore/Coimbatore

  Morning after breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Bangalore Airport or Coimbatore Airport to fly back to your home.
