According to mythological records, King Bhagirath did penance here, after which, as per Lord Shiva’s wishes, River Ganges came down on earth.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Delhi to Haridwar (210 kms)

Departure from Delhi by road to reach Haridwar. Reach Haridwar and check-in at Haridwar hotel and after wards free time for Haridwar sightseeing.

Day 2 : Haridwar to Uttarkashi (170 km approx)

After breakfast proceed to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel in Uttarakashi, In free time you can visit Vishwanath Temple, Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi etc.

Day 3 : Uttarkashi to Harsil to Gangotri to Uttarkashi (100 km each side)

After breakfast proceed to Gangotri, on the way visit beautiful Harsil village. After Gangotri Dham Darshan drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Uttarkashi to Rudraprayag (175 kms)

After breakfast proceed to Rudraprayag. On arrival check-in at hotel, evening time free for local sightseeing.

Day 5 : Rudraprayag to Kedarnath (75 km by road & 14 km trek)

Early morning After breakfast, proceed to Gaurikund, Start trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath either by walk or by taking pony. Reach Kedarnath and check-in at hotel in Kedarnath, later visit to Kedarnath Temple.

Day 6 : Kedarnath to Rudraprayg (14Kms Down Trek & 100 kms Road)

Early morning darshan and pooja at Kedarnath temple, after that trek down to Gaurikund and proceed to Rudraprayag. Overnight stay at hotel in Rudraprayag.

Day 7 : Rudraprayag to Srinagar to Rishikesh (120 Km)

After breakfast departure to Rishikesh. After lunch full day sightseeing of Rishikesh. In the evening visit Parmarth Ashram to see Ganges Aarti and Overnight stay at Rishikesh hotel.

Day 8 : Rishikesh to Delhi (230 kms)

After breakfast few more sightseeing and activities in Rishikesh, later proceed to Delhi. On arrival transfer the guests to Delhi Airport/Railway Station to board the flight/train for onward journey and tour ends.
