8 Days Masai Mara/Naivasha/Manyara/Ngorongoro

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi / Masai Mara

  We leave Nairobi by safari van going south through the Rift Valley. Picnic lunch will be served on the way. Late afternoon we will arrive at campsite. There will be time for a game drive either en-route to the camp or after arrival. Dinner will be served at Impala lodge.
• Day 2 : Masai Mara

  We will take an early morning and late afternoon game drive to explore and enjoy the Maasai Mara in search of the "Big Five". All meals are taken or served at Impala lodge.
• Day 3 : Masai Mara / Naivasha

  A pre-breakfast game drives before returning to the camp for breakfast later depart for Lake Naivasha. lunch will be served on the way. Arriving Lake Naivasha in good time for (optional activities like boating bycicle cycling etc at an extra cost). Dinner and overnight stay at Taphe guest house.
• Day 4 : Lake Naivasha/ Arusha

  After morning breakfast leave Naivasha for Arusha through Nairobi. Here you connect afternoon shuttle at a cost $ 20 per person. Also here you will have the opportunity to visit the hells gate later proceed to Arusha through Nairobi Arusha Arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at a budget hotel.
• Day 5 : Arusha Manyara

  After breakfast, you will take a drive into the Manyara National Park making a brief stop for a walking tour at Mto Wa Mbu (pronounced OOM-tow-wa-OOM-boo), a village that's now home to people from many different tribes from Tanzania. The area has been turned it into an oasis through Irrigation; it used to be just grazing land for the cattle of the nomadic Masai people. Visit with the locals as you tour the village and also try some of the local banana beer. After the tour continue to the park for a gammed. After lunch at a picnic site we proceed on another game drive before we return to our camp .Dinner and overnight stay at mto wa mbu campsite.
• Day 6 : Manyara Ngorongoro

  Morning breakfast later proceed to ngorongoro we descend 2,000 feet into the giant caldera of this extinct volcano. This magnificent natural amphitheatre contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa. Prides of lion, black rhino and elephant share this land with the legendary Masai tribesmen. Because the grasses are short, game is easily spotted and can be approached quite closely. We spend a splendid morning on the floor of the crater observing wildlife in this ageless World Heritage Site. After a picnic lunch inside the crater we depart and drive back to Arusha arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at samba A (it’s a basic camp with a common kitchen and a common toilet.
• Day 7 : Ngorongoro - Arusha

  Morning breakfast followed by en route as you proceed back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight stay at a budget hotel.
• Day 8 : Arusha - Nairobi

  Morning breakfast in arusha connect a shuttle bus back to Nairobi.
