After spending the night in Entebbe, wake up refreshed and ready to go on an adventure.The different monkeys and chimps in Kibale will blow your mind. Enjoy visiting the local community as well as experiencing the priceless chimpanzee habituation in Kibale Forest National Park.
You will then take a break from the primates and spend your fourth day on a game drive safari and a boat ride where you will see an array of wild life. After a fulfilling experience of watching tree climbing lions and many other wild life animals you will climax the trip by going gorilla tracking in Bwindi impenetrable forest. You will then return to Entebbe and on your way pass the equator for some photos of you standing on both sides of the hemisphere at the same time.

Day 1 : Arrive At Entebbe International Airport
Welcome to the pearl of Africa! You will be picked up from the airport by your guide and receive a warm welcome to Uganda. He will then drive you from the airport to the lodge. Get ready to have 8 days of marveling at nature.
Day 2 : Drive To Kibale Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
In the morning, you will meet a Travel Africa Safaris team leader who will brief you on your trip and answer any questions you might have. You will then be picked up from your Hotel and depart to Kibale for an exciting day! Kibale’s primates include Vervet, L’Hoest’s, Grey cheecked Mangabey, Red-tailed and Blue monkeys, Red colobus, Black & white colobus, Olive baboon and Chimpanzee. Kibale forest a home to the Chimpanzees and one of the few parks in Uganda where night excursions are permitted, after dark. You can take an excursion with spotlights to seek nocturnal primates and other wildlife.
In the afternoon you will visit the Bigodi swamp which is maintained by the local community. You should expect to see birds like the great Blue turaco, blue monkeys, baboons, otters, mongoose, bush bucks, bush pigs and among others.
Day 3 : Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Today you will experience Chimpanzee Habituation in Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive at the park Head-quarters at 6:30 am for briefing. You will start trekking into the forest to find the Chimps as they awake from their Nests. Thereafter you will follow a Chimpanzee family for the entire day, observing how they hunt, feed, Mate, Play with the young, interact and rest. You will get to learn to identify them as individuals by their markings, scars and other unique features that make them stand apart from rest.
Day 4 : Game Viewing & Boat Ride On The Kazinga Channel
Start off with a morning game drive in the northern part of the park on the Kasenyi side , best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action owing to the vast population of Uganda Kobs. In the afternoon prepare for a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others.
Day 5 : Game Drive And Ishasha
You start the day with an exciting early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Queen Elizabeth National Park is estimated that one of the national parks in the world, which has the highest diversity of plants and animals. The landscape consists of open savannah, rainforest, dense papyrus swamps, crater lakes and the incredibly wide Lake Edward. In the afternoon, drive to Ishasha the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In Ishasha you will have a game drive in search of the unique tree-climbing lions. Only here the lions have the habit of climbing the trees.

Day 6 : From Ishasha To Lake Bunyonyi
Depart for Lake Bunyonyi in the Morning. On your way you will have a game drive in Ishasha sector Wilderness where the Tree Climbing Lions are found, then continue to Lake Bunyonyi. Along the way you will have spectacular breathtaking views of the terraced hills in Kabale. Kabale is very hilly and in most instances referred to as the Switzerland of Uganda.

Day 7 : Gorilla Tracking
Whole day Gorilla tracking in Bwindi, morning breakfast after proceed for a briefing. You will trek the gorillas through the rainforest and bamboo covered slopes, accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of a Mountain gorilla family. The walking can sometimes be tough and long, but when you catch a glimpse of the magnificent silverback, any discomforts will be quickly forgotten.
Day 8 : Transfer To Entebbe
Today you will have breakfast and set off to Entebbe, you will have a stop for lunch. Arrive at your accommodation to freshen up and pack up then drive to the airport to catch your flight back home concluding a fun and adventurous holiday.
