Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kampala- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  After your welcome breakfast at 6:30am, we drive southwards passing through the lush green varied vegetation from savannah wood lands and plains, shrubby vegetation. Drive to Mbarara town, for an hour’s lunch break and continue to the beautifully terraced hills of the Kigezi Highlands and finally to the territory of the Gorillas. Have an early dinner and pre- briefing from your guide about your Gorilla Trek.

• Day 2 : Gorilla trekking – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

  Arise early to the humming forest sounds of this ancient Jungle for your breakfast. With our packed lunch, we go for the pre- trek update from the rangers who will tell you what to expect in the Jungle. Your trek could last anything from three to eight hours. Therefore, your physical stamina is greatly required and this trek will definitely keep you fit. However, your weariness will be overcome by your great feeling when you finally see the shy and yet gentle giants the gorillas. During your dinner, you will openly talk about your jungle experiences with other travelers. In all, gorilla trekking in Bwindi is a memory to last your life time.

• Day 3 : Bwindi- Mgahinga National Park

  Today we take time appreciating the works of the communities that surround the Park and participate in some of the activities. After Lunch we move on to Mgahinga. Great scenic moments as you travel

• Day 4 : Hiking Mt.Sabinyo

  Wake up early and after breakfast, with our packed lunch we head to the Mt.Mgahinga headquarters ready to start our hike to Mt. Sabinyo at 7.00am. Our hike takes about 8 hrs on average over a 14km stretch. Get ready to have all your fours at work at this adventurous hike with mystical views of the Virunga Mountains and finally when at the top, will you have your foot in Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo at the same time.

• Day 5 : Batwa Trail- Mt.Mgahinga

  After breakfast, we shall go for a cultural walk with the People of the rain forest the Batwa. Walk through with the Mutwa Guide, as they tress back their old cherished days when they lived in comfortable co existence with the Forest hunting, gathering fruit and medicinal plants as their normal day to day lives. Today this has changed as the Batwa where evicted from the forest in 1991 and have been reduced to a marginalized group of people without much to do without their forest. Support The Batwa with this walk with 50% going back to the Batwa.

• Day 6 : Mt.Mgahinga- Queen Elizabeth National Park

  Today we unwind the Rolling hills of the Kigezi highlands to the flat savannah plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have your afternoon meal and later in the evening we are off for an evening drive to the Katwe area for beautiful scenery and on our way back we may be able to see little creatures like the civet not commonly seen on our morning game

• Day 7 : Queen Elizabeth National Park

  Wake up early to a warm up tea and head out in the wilds in a 3-4hrs search for the Jungle predators. With the proficiency of your guide you will see the Lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, various species of Antelopes and an array of beautiful birds. Have your midday meal with superior views of the Mweya peninsula, and then ready yourself for a luxurious boat trip on the Kazinga channel. This natural channel connecting Lake Edward and Lake George comes with an astounding population of Hippos considered the highest in the world with buffaloes, elephants just to mention beating off the afternoon heat at the channel Banks with a striking variety and number of bird species that will make your day complete.

• Day 8 : Queen Elizabeth- Kampala

  After breakfast, we drive back to Kampala; we shall call in at the Equator and have some mesmeric photo shots in the north or southern hemisphere at a negligible distance. Some souvenir shopping may be done here. Drop you at the Airport for your late evening flight.
