Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Jammu - Travel to Srinagar

  Arrival at Jammu:
  Arrive at Jammu airport or railway station.
  Meet your driver and guide upon arrival, and begin your journey to Srinagar.
  Travel to Srinagar:
  Journey time: Approximately 6–7 hours.
  The drive from Jammu to Srinagar takes you through picturesque landscapes, including views of the Jhelum River and rolling hills.
  Stop for breaks and meals along the way.
  Evening in Srinagar:
  Arrive in Srinagar and check-in at your hotel.
  Relax after the long drive and prepare for the upcoming days of exploration. Overnight in Srinagar.

• Day 2 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing

  Morning:
  Dal Lake Shikara Ride: Begin your day with a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake, one of the most iconic experiences in Srinagar. You’ll enjoy the views of floating houseboats and the reflection of the surrounding mountains.
  Visit the floating market (if it’s early enough), where you can see vendors selling flowers, vegetables, and handicrafts from their boats.
  
  Mid-Morning:
  Nishat Bagh: Head to Nishat Bagh, a beautiful Mughal garden located on the eastern side of Dal Lake. It offers panoramic views of the lake and the Zabarwan Range.
  Shalimar Bagh: After Nishat Bagh, visit Shalimar Bagh, another magnificent Mughal garden known for its grand design and historical significance.
  
  Afternoon:
  Hazratbal Shrine: Visit this serene shrine on the northern edge of Dal Lake, dedicated to Hazratbal, a revered Muslim saint. It’s a peaceful spot with a great view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
  Shankaracharya Temple: Head to the top of Shankaracharya Hill, where the ancient Shankaracharya Temple stands. The temple offers stunning views of the entire city and Dal Lake.
  
  Evening:
  Free time to visit local markets such as Lal Chowk, famous for Kashmiri shawls, carpets, and dry fruits.
  You can also explore the local food scene, trying Kashmiri delicacies like Rogan Josh, Yakhni, and Kahwa tea.
  Overnight in Srinagar.

• Day 3 : Gulmarg Day Trip

  Morning:
  After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards Gulmarg (about 2 hours from Srinagar).
  Gulmarg is famous for its lush meadows and snow-capped mountains (in winter), making it a perfect spot for skiing and other adventure sports.
  Take a ride on the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, offering breathtaking views of the valley.
  
  Afternoon:
  Explore Alpather Lake, which is often covered with snow in the winter months. You can go for a small trek or relax in the tranquil environment.
  If you are interested in skiing or snowboarding (in winter), you can rent equipment and enjoy some time on the slopes.
  Explore Khilanmarg, which is another beautiful spot, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
  
  Evening:
  Head back to Srinagar in the late afternoon.

  Morning:
  After breakfast, leave for Pahalgam, a 4-hour scenic drive from Srinagar.
  On the way, stop at Aru Valley and Betaab Valley, two beautiful spots offering lush greenery, river views, and an idyllic atmosphere.
  
  Afternoon:
  Baisaran Valley: Once in Pahalgam, take a pony ride or a jeep ride to Baisaran Valley, often called "Mini Switzerland," known for its meadows, rolling hills, and views of snow-covered peaks.
  Explore the small, charming town of Pahalgam and visit Mamleshwar Temple, a beautiful Hindu temple by the river.
  Visit Pahalgam Market, where you can buy woolens, souvenirs, and Kashmiri handicrafts.
  
  Evening:
  Head back to Srinagar for the night.
  Overnight in Srinagar.

• Day 5 : Srinagar - Travel to Katra

  Morning:
  Check out from your Srinagar hotel after breakfast.
  Depart for Katra (approx. 6-7 hours drive).
  The journey offers scenic views as you cross hills and valleys, entering the region of Jammu.
  
  Afternoon:
  Arrive in Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
  Check-in at your hotel in Katra and rest after the long drive.
  Optionally, you can take a short walk around the town or visit the Vaishno Devi Temple Base Camp to get acquainted with the area.
  Overnight in Katra.

• Day 6 : Vaishno Devi Darshan

  Early Morning:
  Begin the trek to Vaishno Devi temple. The trek is 14 km (one-way) and usually takes 5-6 hours. You can choose to travel on foot, by pony, or use the helicopter service (for faster access).
  Along the way, you’ll pass through several checkpoints and small temples.
  
  Mid-Morning:
  Reach the Vaishno Devi Temple and offer prayers. The temple is situated at an altitude of 5,200 feet and is one of the holiest places in India for Hindus.
  Spend some time in the temple complex and soak in the spiritual ambiance.
  
  Afternoon:
  After darshan, descend back to Katra.
  You may also visit Bhairon Temple, situated on a hilltop near Vaishno Devi, which is considered important for completing the pilgrimage.
  
  Evening:
  Rest and relax after a fulfilling spiritual experience.
  Overnight in Katra.

• Day 7 : Katra - Travel to Amritsar

  Morning:
  After breakfast, check out and begin your journey towards Amritsar (approximately 5-6 hours drive).
  Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the foothills of the Trikuta mountains to the plains of Punjab.
  
  Afternoon:
  Arrive in Amritsar and check-in to your hotel.
  Take some rest and refresh after your long journey.
  
  Evening:
  Visit the Golden Temple to experience its tranquil beauty and glowing ambiance at night. The temple is lit up beautifully, and you can see the reflection of the temple on the surrounding water.

  Visit the Jallianwala Bagh, a historical garden that marks the massacre of hundreds of Indians by British forces in 1919. The site is a somber reminder of India's struggle for independence.
  Visit the Partition Museum, which provides historical insight into the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947.
  
  Evening:

• The Company is Responsible for only those services which are charged from the guest. All other services which are not paid by the guest to the Company are suggested services and the company is nowhere bound to provide that service or pay the cost for the same.
• If due to reasons beyond our control like riots, flood, accidents or any other natural or manmade calamities, the program of the tour has to be changed or extended, the additional expenditure for the same will have to be borne by the passengers.
• As if any passengers have to leave the tour mid-way, due to any reasons like death of a relative, or illness or any other reasons, there shall be no refund for the remaining portion of the tour.
• Sonamarg: After Sonamarg, there is a Point called Zero point away from Sonamarg, Thajiwas Glacier and activities like Fish Point (Underwater Balloon Ride). There is only a Union Cab, Charges for Union Cab: 6000/-to 8000/- (Negotiable).
• Gulmarg: Gondola Ride is there (Rope Way). In Gondola, you will find Snow and other activities related to snow. Tickets Are fixed as per Govt. fare i.e. Rs. 810 for 1st phase & 1010 for 2nd phase. In case of snow you have to take a chain jeep from Union Service: 3000 - 3500/=
• In case of road closure due to snow and slippery roads, our vehicle will not be allowed to ply as a precautionary measure. This is as per govt./administration orders. Only snow jeeps/chained vehicles are allowed to ply. These vehicles can be hired on a direct payment basis or the same can be arranged by us at an additional cost.
• Pahalgam: Chandanwari, Aru Valley Betaab Valley is there, where only Union Taxi is allowed and the fare as per the vehicle rates starts from 2500 to 3000 (Depends on Points).
• BAISARAN is the best place to visit in Pahalgam though it is not a snow-covered area but the place has its own natural beauty. Either you go by walking or by Horse Riding, or other activities are there.
• All rates are valid for Indian Nationals only.
• Prices valid for selected month only.
• Check-Out / Check-In time at all the properties would at 1200 hrs (Noon) and 02:00 Pm respectively.
• Please note that AC will be switched off while travelling in hilly terrain.
• Personal identification is mandatory to carry on a tour for Air Travel, Hotels for security reasons like: Adhaar Card, Election card, Driving License, Passport.
