Day 1 : Delhi-Shimla-Kufri –Narkanda
Distance: 370 km 8/10 hours Journey
Meal: Dinner
Today you will be greeted upon your arrival by our agent and then you will proceed towards Narkanda, a quaint little town situated at an elevation of 2700 m. During the journey, you will notice a change in the landscape as well as in the weather as you travel up the winding roads of the mountains. Enroute Narkanda, you will be passing through two major towns of Himachal i.e. Solan and Shimla. Solan is also known as the Mushroom Capital of India and Shimla used to be the capital of India during the British Raj. You take a short break here to have lunch and then you will continue your journey towards Narkanda. On reaching Narkanda, you may check-in to your hotel / campsite to grab some rest and a delicious dinner.
Day 2 : Narkanda - Sangla
Distance: 154 km 5 hours Journey
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Today, you will wake up early and then travel to Hatu Peak (3400 m ) to seek the blessings of Hatu Mata. Hatu offers great panoramic views of the high mountain ranges and the valley beyond. Then, we will continue our journey towards Sarahan, the abode of Bhima Kali Mata. You may have your lunch here and we will then embark on our journey to the Sangla valley.Here you will be traveling along the Satluj river till Karcham and from there you will travel along the Baspa river till Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan Border. Enroute Chitkul, you will pass through some small towns and villages like Rampur, Tapri, Sangla, Batseri, etc.On reaching Chitkul, you may check-in to your hotel / campsite for a scrumptious dinner and a restful sleep.
Day 3 : Sangla-Chitkul-Kalpa
Distance: 41 km 1/2 hours Journey
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Have your breakfast and post that, we will start our journey towards Kalpa. On the way to Kalpa, you will be visiting the Bering Nag Temple and the Kamru Fort in Sangla. After that, you will continue your journey to Kalpa by following the same route till Karcham.From Karcham, you will take the route towards Reckong Peo, the regional headquarters of the Kinnaur District. A few kilometres on the road to Spiti will take you to Kalpa, a small but beautiful village overlooking the mighty Kinner Kailash mountain.The villagers follow both Buddhism as well as Hinduism and hence you will find a temple as well as a small monastery here. The other key attraction of Kalpa is the apple orchards and if you plan to visit Kalpa in October or November, you might be lucky enough to eat fresh Kinnaur apples.The overnight stay is in a hotel / homestay where you will be served a delicious hot dinner.
Day 4 : Kalpa – Nako-Tabo
Distance: 160 km 4/5 hours Journey
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Wake up to a beautiful morning and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva by taking a glimpse of the Kinner Kailash peak from your window. Then freshen up, have your breakfast and start your journey towards Tabo. Today you will be travelling on a road where you’ll find numerous road signs indicating that the road has been labeled as treacherous by the BRO (Border Road Organization). You may choose to tke a selfie along the board or simply choose to ignore them. The journey will be thrilling and will offer you glimpses of picturesque landscape. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated as you will be travelling to a higher altitude. You will be passing through Nako, where you will visit the Nako Lake and the Nako Monastery. Enroute your journey to Tabo, you will also be travelling through the Pooh Army Base and the Malling Nallah. Today, you will be spending the night in Tabo for a more exquisite experience.
Day 5 : Tabo-Dhankar-Pin Valley – Kaza
Distance: 47 km 1/2 hours Journey

Have your breakfast and today you will be exploring Tabo and visiting the famous Tabo Monastery, which is the 2nd most important pilgrimage site for the Tholing Gompa, Tibet and dates back to the 16th century. Tabo Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries of the Himalayas and it is also referred to as the Ajanta of the Himalayas as you will find cliff-like structures and caves, which were being used by the Buddhist Monks for meditation. The Tabo Monastery is the 2nd most important pilgrimage site for the Tholing Gompa, Tibet.After this, we will be going to Dhankar, which used to be the old capital of Spiti and features the Dhankar Monastery (Lha-O-pa Gompa), that is located on a huge cliff overlooking the Spiti river confluence as valley as the Pin valley. It earlier used to be a fort and then was being used as the a Gompa for the Buddhist Monks. A short 1 km trek will take you to the beautiful Dhankar Lake which is a place worth a visit.Later in the day, you will be traveling to the Pin Valley. The Pin valley drives it’s name from the Pin river which flows through it. The Kungri Monastery, which is the 2nd oldest monastery in Spiti also lies in the Pin valley and you will be visiting this enchanting place to unravel the heritage and tradition of the old days. The Pin Valley also boasts of the Pin Valley National Park which is the home for a wide variety of flora & fauna.The overnight stay is in Mudh, which is the last destination of our journey in the Pin Valley. Here you will check-in to your homestay / hotel, have a scrumptious dinner and a good peaceful sleep.
Day 6 : Kaza--Sightseeing – Kaza

Wake up in the morning and today we will set off towards Kaza, which is the largest and the main town of the Spiti Valley. This major town lies on the bank of the Spiti river and it has been segregated into two parts – the old (Kaza Khas) and the new (Kaza Soma). Here, you will visit the famous Tangyud Gompa which dates back to the 14th century.Then, you will head towards one of the most popular places in the Spiti Valley, which is the Kye Monastery. This monastery lies on the top of a hill that overlooks the Spiti valley and a vast river bed. This monastery is the largest monastery of the Spiti valley and it serves as a training center for the young lamas.After that, you will visit Kibber, the 2nd highest inhabited village in the world. Then, you will be travelling to Langza – a small village that boasts of a fossil reserve.Then, you will continue your journey and visit Hikkim – a small village that has the highest Post Office in the World. The ideal thing to do here is to buy a postcard and post it your close ones as it carries a stamp that says ‘from the highest post office in the world‘.Later in the day, you will be visiting Komic, the highest inhabited village in the world. Spend some time here, interact with the locals and learn about their culture, tradition and lifestyle.In the evening, head back to Kaza for an overnight stay and a delicious dinner.
Day 7 : Kaza-Chandertal
Distance: 97 km 3/4 hours Journey
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Have a delicious breakfast and then you will be travelling to Chandertal – a moon shaped lake nestled on the Samudra Tapu Plateau. Today, you will have a scenic ride, where majority of the journey is along the Spiti river. On reaching Batal in a couple of hours, you will have to trek for approximately 1 km to reach the beautiful lake. Spend some quality time here and click some memorable moments before heading back to your camp nearby. Later, have your dinner, sit by the bonfire and witness a beautiful star-lit night sky.
Day 8 : Chandertal-Rohtang-Manali
Distance: 112 km 3/4 hours Journey
Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Wake up to a beautiful morning, have a scrumptious breakfast and soon we will continue our journey to Manali. Today is going to be a long day, but a day full of thrill and a scenic landscape as you will be travelling from the barren lands of the cold desert to the lush green valleys of the Kullu valley by crossing the snow covered Kunzum Pass (4570 m) & the Rohtang Pass (3978 m).Soon, you will be reaching Manali in the evening, where you may grab a hearty meal and a restful sleep.
Day 9 : Manali-Delhi
Distance: 112 km 3/4 hours Journey
