Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Srinagar

  On arrival at Srinagar airport, transfer to the houseboat. In the evening enjoy a romantic "Shikara ride". Overnight stay at House boat.

  After breakfast, visit the temple of Shankaracharya, Hazrat Bal and the Mughal Gardens. Evening free. Overnight stay at House boat.

• Day 3 : Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (82 kms / 4 hours one way)

  After breakfast full day sightseeing of Sonmarg ' meadow of gold '. Sonmarg has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh meanders along here and abounds with trout and mahseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, a major attraction. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
• Day 4 : Srinagar – Gulmarg - Srinagar (52 kms / 2 hrs One Way)

  After breakfast proceed to Gulmarg, also known as the 'Meadow of Flowers'. Gulmarg's legendary beauty, prime location and proximity to Srinagar makes it one of the premier hill resorts in the country. Today Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty- it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in the winter. Enjoy a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides (at own cost). Overnight at Srinagar.
• Day 5 : Srinagar– Pahalgam (97 kms / 4 hrs)

  After breakfast drive to Pahalgam, the 'Valley of Shepherds'. On arrival, check into your hotel. There is something about the pure and re-vitalizing air of Pahalgam, perhaps dense pine and cedar forests make it oxygen rich. Pahalgam is situated at an altitude of 2,133 metres amidst lofty deodars, fir, pine, junipers and many other conifers. Enjoy the breathtaking views. Overnight at Pahalgam.

• Day 6 : Pahalgam – Katra (290 kms / 10 hrs)

  After breakfast, drive to Katra. Evening check-in at hotel. After dinner start your journey for Vaishnodevi Mata Shrine (14 kms Trek). Overnight stay at Katra.
• Day 7 : Katra

  Early morning return from Vaishnodevi Mata Shrine. Day free to rest and relax. Overnight stay at Katra.
• Day 8 : Katra

  After breakfast transfer to airport to board flight to your home & bid farewell to 'Glorious Kashmir'.
