Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Jammu - Katra

  Welcome to the Jammu, The Temple City. On arrival at Jammu Airport , You will be transferred to Katra .Enjoy Beautiful Sorroundings.Overnight stay in Katra.

• Day 2 : In Katra 

  After Breakfast at the Katra hotel,you will be transferred to Banganga from where you can head to the Vaishno Devi temple on foot or on pony-backs. You can have dinner at a local restaurant near the temple after the darshan. Head back to the hotel in Katra for an overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Katra, Pahalgam - Sightseeing at Patnitop En Route

  Head out from Katra and stop by at Patnitop before moving on for a leisure day in Pahalgam with your family Start your day with breakfast at the Katra hotel and the check-out of the hotel. Day 3 takes you to Pahalgam via Patnitop. Enjoy the splendid views on the way and plan your day ahead in Pahalgam.  You can spend the leisure doing a number of activities. You can take leisurely strolls in the beautiful valley or go exploring the local markets and picking souvenirs with your family members.Towards evening, the itinerary of this Jammu Kashmir family package takes you back to the Pahalgam hotel dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Pahalgam - Optional tours at Pahalgam

  Go for short optional excursions to the nearby valleys and have a fun-filled day with the family Savour a delish morning meal and then get ready for a fun-filled day. You can plan short family excursions to the nearby valleys and explore the surroundings on your own. Alternatively, you can spend quality time with your family at the hotel. In the evening, you will be taken back to the hotel in your cab for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 5 : Pahalgam, Srinagar - Tales from the Srinagar Houseboat

  Proceed to the Dal Lake in Srinagar and spend some family time on the houseboat and the shikaras.Kick-start the day with a lavish morning meal and then pack up for your next transfer. Check-out and proceed to the jetty at Dal Lake in Srinagar where the houseboats are docked. Check-in at the houseboat, and relax for a while. Take a shikara ride to Nehru Park in the evening. Later, enjoy dinner and night stay at the houseboat itself.

  Travel time: 2 hours

• Day 6 : Sonamarg Excursion

  Spend an eventful day in the beautiful Sonamarg valley Have breakfast in the houseboat in Srinagar and proceed for a day’s excursion to Sonamarg. There are many activities that families can indulge in.In the evening, you will be taken back to the Srinagar hotel for dinner and night stay.

  Travel time: 1 hour 45 minutes per side
  Optional: Watersports at Manasbal, pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, and visit to temples of Khir-Bhawani and Narang are the optional activities families can indulge in.

• Day 7 : Gulmarg - Leisure day in the Meadows

  Move on to Gulmarg for a leisure day in the meadows Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the houseboat, and then check-out to head to Gulmarg. The private cab transfer is perfect to enjoy mesmerizing landscapes on the way.A day excursion to Gulmarg gives you the chance to visit the major attractions in Gulmarg and enjoy a lot of other optional activities.Conclude the day with dinner and overnight stay in the Gulmarg hotel.

  Travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes
  Optional: Pony ride to Strawberry Fields and short excursion to Alpather Lake are some of the optional activities that can be done on day 6 of this Jammu Kashmir family package.Head for some other optional tours and activities, including the famous Gondola cable car ride.Day 7 is planned in Gulmarg. • Day 8 : Srinagar Local

  Today after having breakfast we drive to visit the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (the garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal lake. Nishat Bagh is the larger of the two gardens and has an impressive plantation of Chenar trees on its highest terrace. Both the gardens are built on a symmetrical plan of central waterways with fountains dividing a series of gardened terraces.Overnight stay In hotel in Srinagar.

• Day 9 : Departure From Srinagar

  This concludes your 8 nights 9 days Jammu and Kashmir trip.Have breakfast in the Srinagar hotel and check-out. You will be taken to the Jammu Tawi Railway Station for the return train. Have lunch at a local restaurant en route.
  Distance from Srinagar to Jammu Tawi Railway Station: 300 km
  Travel time: 7 hours
