• Day 1 : Arrival in Sri Lanka – Negombo

  Today you will be transferred to Colombo – the official political and trade capital of Sri Lanka. All the famous shopping arcades are in and around the city, which allows one to have a tantalizing experience in Colombo as it has something to offer every visitor. It is a hub of many ethnicities with people from all creeds working together. Colombo is indeed cosmopolitan.

• Day 2 : Negombo – Habarana

  Today you will travel to Habarana. Sri Lanka’s famous cultural triangle offers plenty to fire both mind and body over the next few days. Explore the lion rock of Sigiriya. Join a safari at Minneriya National Park or an adventurous elephant back ride in Habarana. Or take a cycle ride to nowhere with the sky and the scenery for company.

• Day 4 : Habarana – Kandy

  Today, travel to Kandy – a World Heritage city where traditions and culture remains undisturbed by European influence in the colonial era. The Royal Palace called “The Temple of Tooth Relic” situated alongside the lake gives a magical beauty to the city. Kandy is also home to one of the largest botanical gardens in South East Asia. The Peradeniya Gardens which dates back to the 14th century has over 4000 plant species and numerous historical trees including the Cannonball Tree planted by King George V of the UK. The tree is bent with fruits, which resemble cannonballs hence the name.

  Kitulgala’s rock strewn sections and the rapids provide ample pleasure for the adventure sport of white water rafting which competes with encounters of grade 2 and 3 rapids bearing unique names such as Butter Crunch, Killer Falls, Head Chopper and Virgin’s Breast! The actual run an take between 1 ½ to 3 hours depending on how much time you want to spend
