Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi

  On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you are met by a CATS Africa’s representative and transferred to your hotel. You will spend the rest of the day resting and adjusting to the different time zone. Lunch and dinner will be on your own account. Overnight will be at Nairobi Serena Hotel (bed and breakfast).
• Day 2 : Nairobi - Tsavo West

  After breakfast and check-out, you will depart for the drive south to Tsavo West National Park, known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo, and Maasai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu, and Masai giraffe. You will be transferred to the lodge with a game viewing drive en route to arrive in time for lunch. You will depart later in the evening for a game viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Kilaguni Serena Lodge (full board).
• Day 3 : Tsavo West

  After breakfast, you will depart for a morning game viewing drive, common wildlife sightings here include lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, elephant, water buck, topi, eland, gazelle, etc. and hundreds of species of birds. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive which will include a visit to Mzima Springs, home to hippos and crocodiles. There’s also the opportunity to descend to an underground viewing chamber to watch the animals underwater. Dinner and overnight will be at Kilaguni Serena Lodge (full board).
• Day 4 : Tsavo West - Tsavo East

  You will have an early morning game drive in the park (optional). This is also the ideal time to view the eternal snows of Mount Kilimanjaro (if weather permitting). You will be back to the lodge for breakfast after which you proceed to Tsavo East National Park and enter in search of its rich fauna and flora. You will arrive in time for lunch at the camp and depart later for a game viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Ashnil Aruba Camp (full board).

• Day 5 : Tsavo East

  You will spend the day on morning and afternoon game viewing drives, a variety of animals can be seen such as lions, leopard, cheetah, zebras, giraffes, serval cats, antelopes, kongoni, and Lesser kudu, oryx, klipspringer, impala, striped hyena, ostriches, gazelles, buffalos, and elephants. This is also home to the world’s longest lava flow, the Yatta Plateau. All meals and overnight will be at Ashnil Aruba Camp (full board).
• Day 6 : Tsavo East - Mombasa

  You will enjoy a final early morning game viewing drive returning for breakfast and check-out. You will exit the park with a game drive en route to the Kenyan coast of Mombasa. On arrival, you are transferred to your hotel on the north coast via Nyali Bridge. You will check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Lunch will be on your own account. Dinner and overnight will be at Mombasa Serena Beach Resort (half board).
• Day 7 : Mombasa

  You will spend the next two days at leisure or on optional activities arranged upon request and are payable direct. The activities include water sports, visits to Marine Parks, Haller Park, Gedi Ruins, Shimba Hills Reserve, Wasini and Kisite Dhow, Tamarind Dhow dinner cruise among others. Lunches will be on your own account. Breakfast, dinner, and overnights will be at Mombasa Serena Beach Resort (half board).
• Day 8 : Mombasa

  You will spend the next two days at leisure or on optional activities arranged upon request and are payable direct. The activities include water sports, visits to Marine Parks, Haller Park, Gedi Ruins, Shimba Hills Reserve, Wasini and Kisite Dhow, Tamarind Dhow dinner cruise among others. Lunches will be on your own account. Breakfast, dinner, and overnights will be at Mombasa Serena Beach Resort (half board).
• Day 9 : Departure

  You will have breakfast at the hotel and check-out, then you are transferred to Moi International Airport (MBA) for your onward flight.
