Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin

  On arrival meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Then a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace and Antique shops. Overnight at Cochin.

• Day 2 : Thekkady

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Then proceed to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Stay in Thekkady.

  Morning after breakfast proceed for a spice plantation tour covering Tea, coffee, cardamom, pepper, Ginger etc. Afternoon on your own for a bit of shopping or for a Kathakali or Kalaripayattu show (Cost extra). Overnight at Thekkady.

• Day 4 : Munnar

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On Arrival visit Blossom park and Flower garden. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.

• Day 5 : Munnar

  After breakfast to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars (Rajamala is closed from Feb 1st to Mar 31st). Overnight stay at Munnar.

  Morning after breakfast proceed for a site seeing tour covering Chemkulam dam ( speed boating facilities are avialable here- cost extra) and tea museum. Overnight at Munnar.

  Full day at leisure in Munnar. Overnight at Munnar.

• Day 8 : Cochin

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Cochin. Check in to the hotel. Then a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace and Antique shops. Overnight at Cochin.

• Day 9 : Cochin airport drop

  Morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat/ hotel and proceed to Cochin International Airport for return journey.
