Day 1 : Airport
Upon arrival at the Kuching International Airport, you will be greet by our friendly and informative guide. Then to be transfer to Kuching Hotel for check in. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 2 : Kuching City Tour / Sarawak Cultural Village and Mangrove Cruise
9.00 am Meet our friendly and informative guide at the hotel lobby. Then proceed for Kuching City Tour.
This is a comprehensive tour where you can see all the places of attraction around this historical city. The tour begins with a drive to see South City Hall and a visit to the photos gallery about the historical and modern city of Kuching, the gigantic Cat Status (mascot of the city)at Padungan before cruising through Chinatown and a stop at the Sarawak Museum, which is acknowledged as one of the finest in the world. It is a treasure house of artifacts and exhibits which possess great archaeological and cultural significance. The route passes through the Syariah (muslim) Court, Satok Market and traditional Malay houses built on stilts, passing through the magnificent looking Mosque built along the river bank continue passing through the old town to waterfront / main bazaar - look out for the old Colonial Law Court - Across the river, is a good view of the majestic Astana (1870) - former palace of White Rajahs and the imposing State Assemble Building.
After lunch, proceed to Cat Museum, then to Sarawak Cultural Village
Cats Museum is a much more interesting museum. This is said to be the World’s first Cat Museum and it contains more than 2,000 cat artefacts and memorabilia from all over the world. The Cat Museum itself holds many interesting history about cats. There are even real stuffed cats here and you’ll be meeting famous cats such as Garfield, Felix, Hello Kitty and many more.
Sarawak Cultural Village is also known as a Living museum, the village. Upon arrival you will explore the 7 authentic replicas of ethnic houses. Chinese Farm House, Malay’s Stilted House, Melanau Tall House, Sago processing Hut, Penan Hut as well as the Iban Longhouse, Bidayuh Longhouse and also the Orang Ulu Longhouse. Displayed in each of the houses are the many artifacts made by the individual dwellers. You will also be entertained by the traditional dances by the various ethnic tribes of Sarawak at the village theatre. (11.30 am in the morning and 4.00pm in the afternoon)
4.45 pm After the cultural performance then proceed to Santubong Fishing Village to be transfer to the speed boat for the Mangrove Cruise
Mangrove Wildlife Cruise at the Kuching Wetlands National Park We explores the river estuaries at the Park. The mangrove shoreline offers sightings of many exciting wildlife including proboscis monkeys, long tailed macaque monkeys, silver-leaf monkeys and monitor lizards. A range of bird life, including kingfishers, white-bellied sea eagles and other shore birds can also be found there. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the illusive Irrawaddy Dolphins as they frolic around the estuaries in the morning hours or near sunset. Please note that these animals are wild and therefore, there is no guarantee that visitors will see them.
Then transfer back to the hotel.
Day 3 : Semenggh Orang Utan / Iban Longhouse
8.00 am Meet our friendly guide at hotel lobby. Then proceed to Semenggoh Orang Utan Centre which is about 22 km from Kuching. It is the only one of its kind in Sarawak. Set up in 1975, this 7.4 sq km of virgin forest is home to orang utans. This tour provides an opportunity of a lifetime to observe how the orang utans are being rehabilitated and trained to fend for themselves in the centre. Visitors are allowed to study and observe the orang utans at a distance.
(Feeding Time: 9.00 am - 10.00 am)
Then proceed to Serian Town, a brief stop at the Serian Market before the journey continues to Lauchau for lunch and buy some gifts for the Longhouse folks.
On the way the guide will stop the pepper farm before reaching Lauchau.
After lunch, proceed to Batang Ai Dam jetty.
At the jetty take the longboat to the Iban Longhouse.
Upon reaching the longhouse, you are free to tour the longhouse.
Dinner will be served in the longhouse.
After dinner, relax and watch the Iban Cultural performance. Then get together and learn more about their life style in the forest, before retire to sleep.
Day 4 : Iban Longhouse
After breakfast, proceed to jungle walk, passing through the rainforest and the padi field, looking for wild fern.
On the way the guide will highlight uses of the plants that grow in the rainforest. Upon reaching the waterfall, you can relax and dip in the cool clear water, while the guide and the native prepare the lunch (Iban style of cooking), using the bamboo. You are encouraged to join and learn how the way they cook in the bamboo.
After lunch, retreat back the same way to the longhouse. In the longhouse, free and easy.
Dinner will be served in the longhouse. After dinner, sit together with the Iban folks and learn more about their daily life and their life style in the forest and also their culture before retiring for the night.
Day 5 : Kuching city
After breakfast, get really for departure. Before leaving the longhouse the Iban will demonstrate how to use of the blowpipe in the olden days.
Then farewell to the people.
Same route back to Kuching - en route for lunch before reaching Kuching.
Day 6 : Day Trip to Bako National Park
8.30 am Meet the guide at the hotel lobby and then to be transfer to Bako Jetty to get the speed boat to Bako National Park.
The oldest in Sarawak, the Bako National Park is a 27 square kilometre sanctuary. The Sarawak Bako National Park tour will take you on a trip to explore this recreational locate and its flora and fauna, including the carnivorous pitcher plant and the proboscis monkey. Bako has 17 trails ranging from short Lintang /trail to laborious Telok Limau trails, wind your way through the park to indented sandy bays which are good swimming locations. (Boat ride to see the sea stack and rock formation along the coastal).
Day 7 : Mulu Show Case
Morning check out from the hotel, then transfer to Kuching International Airport for departure to Mulu
Meet on arrival at Mulu Airport then transfer to accommodation for check in.
Afternoon meet at the hotel lobby and proceed for City Tour.
12.00 Noon Lunch at Sg. Pala Restaurant.
After lunch proceed by van to Park HQ for a visit to Deer and Lang’s Cave. Trek along the plank walk (3 km) through the rainforest. Explore the largest cave passage in the world - DEER CAVE and LANG'S CAVE .
Relax at the open air observatory for an opportunity witness the phenomenon exodus of BATS flying out of the caves, spiraling high overhead and ascend to the sky where they will search for food. Then return to the Park and transfer back to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 : Mulu
After breakfast, check out from the accommodation then proceed to take a morning longhtail boat ride to the CAVE OF THE WIND with its tall, slender stalagmites, then on to the source of the CLEARWATER RIVER, see the underground river and visit the dry passage of the LADY’S CAVE. Swim at the Clearwater Spring.
Packed lunch at the pavilion.
Then return back to accommodation for leisure.
Day 9 : Departure from Mulu
Free and easy till time to be transfer to Mulu Airport for departure to the next destination.

Advice: For this trip you are recommended to travel light. (Personal belonging in a small backpack/sling pack and under a plastic wrap) Bring along mosquitoes repellent, sun cream, torchlight, towel, toiletries, swim-wear and kampun adiddas shoes if possible, as to walk in the forest and in the stream. Bring extra drinking water.
Upon confirmation a deposit of 10% of the tour rate.
Full payment: within 30 days before the commencement of the tour if not it is considered as cancellation and not refundable of the deposit.
Non- refundable: within 7 days of cancellation of the tour date.
50% refundable: cancellation before 14 days of the tour date (50% of the amount that been paid).
