Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bag Dogra Airport to Gangtok - Arrival and Transfer

  Approx Distance: 125 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hours
  Meet and greet on arrival at Bag Dogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 2 : Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir - Excursion

  Approx Distance: 120 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hours
  After a heavy breakfast, we take you to the famous Tsomgo Lake at 12000 ft (3600M). We start around 8.30 AM in the morning from the hotel. You have the whole day to enjoy the snow and Yak ride at the scenic high altitude alpine lake near the Indo-Tibet border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pristine clear water remains frozen during winter. Have fun with snow and enjoy an exciting Yak ride around the lake.
  Kindly note the following points regarding visit to Nathula*
  Nathula being the border area permits are limited and depends upon the availability of permit
  If permits are issued, the additional cost to be paid by the passengers is approx. Rs. 4500 - Rs. 5000.
  Nathula visit cost has not been included in this package.
  If we add the Nathula in the package, and due to some weather condition or government orders if the Nathula trips gets cancel then the fare is not refundable

• Day 3 : Gangtok - Full day Sightseeing

  This morning, we will embark on our journey to see in an around of Gangtok Local Sightseeing. PLACES INCLUDE Tashi View point, Plant Conservatory, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway (Cable Car), Ganesh Tok, Gunjang Monastery, Banjhakri Falls.

• Day 4 : Gangtok to Lachung - Drive with on the way Sightseeing

  Approx Distance: 130 Km • Est. Travel Time: 9 hours
  Early morning, we drive to Lach (8800ft) via Chungthang (40Kms), a quiet and picturesque hamlet on the higher Himalayas, famous for its proximity to the Kanchenjunga National Park and Green Lake. En-route we stop over at Tashi View Point. On a clear day we get a splendid view, which is something to behold. No words can capture the emotions adequately. On arrival we check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. ung

• Day 5 : Lachung to Gangtok - Transfer with Yumthang Valley Excursion

  Approx Distance: 160 Km • Est. Travel Time: 8 hours
  Early Morning, we head out to Yumthang-Valley, famous for its varieties of Rhododendron, Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis (myth).
  
  Enjoy in the snow for some time in Zero Point. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. After the tour we head back to Lachung for lunch. Post lunch we leave for Gangtok.
  Optional: -After visiting Yumthang proceed further to Zero Point
  Zero Point (YumeSamdong) nearly 45mins drive. This place remains snow cladded throughout the year. Enjoy in the snow for some time in Zero Point. Furthermore, extra amount of Rs.4000/- will be charged for the ride or payable to driver directly.

• Day 6 : Gangtok to Pelling - Transfer

  Approx Distance: 130 Km • Est. Travel Time: 6 hours
  After breakfast, start for Pelling, Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures and a gold-plated statue of Guru Padsambhava. Overlooking a valley, the 17th century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins, still has evidence of the king’s bedroom and kitchen.

• Day 7 : Pelling - Fullday Sightseeing

  Est. Travel Time: 6 hours
  After breakfast we start for a full day tour which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Water Falls, and Kanchenjunga falls, Khecheopalri Lake, Darap Village, Rimbi Garden, Rabdentse Ruins & Sky Walk. After the tour we return to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Pelling to Darjeeling - Transfer

  Approx Distance: 100 Km • Est. Travel Time: 4 hours
  After Breakfast Transfer to Darjeeling and Check into hotel. Evening free for the troll at market on your own. Overnight Stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 9 : Darjeeling - Full day Sightseeing

  Est. Travel Time: 8 hours
  Early rising at 4:00 am and we head towards Tiger Hill, a place famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. On our way back we will visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop (The Batasia Loop was an engineering marvel of its time. It is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Toy Train. At this point, the track spirals around over itself through a tunnel). From here we head back to our hotel where breakfast will be served.
  After breakfast we head out for 7 points sightseeing. We visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Rope way, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. In the evening, we return to the hotel for overnight stay.

  Approx Distance: 70 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours
  After early morning breakfast, depart for (IXB) Bag Dogra Airport for the onward connection.

Terms And Conditions

• Guidelines with respect to transportation: -
• We provide exclusive vehicles in our packages.
• As there is shortage of space for car parking in the entire Sikkim & Darjeeling region - guests will have to wait at the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing / transfers.
• Also, the lack of enough parking space is the primary reason why we offer only point to point service.
• Due to the services being on point-to-point basis and some local unwritten rules, we might be required to change vehicles based on the route. For example, a vehicle doing the
• sightseeing tour will not necessarily transfer you to the Airport.
• Because vehicles are likely to change during the course of the tour, guests are advised not leave behind any belongings.
• Guests are requested to maintain the transfer / sightseeing timings, especially in Gangtok. Due to local traffic laws, vehicles are not allowed to remain parked in front of the hotels for long (also most of the hotels do not have dedicated parking lots). If there is a delay in
• boarding the vehicle after it has arrived to receive the guests, the vehicle will be forced to leave and head to the nearest taxi stand. Guests will then have to make their own arrangement to reach the taxi stand.
• We would appreciate it if the guests do not lend their ears to the drivers. In our experience, a lot of times drivers have tried to misguide guests to suit themselves. Its best if the guests
• discuss the issue with us first.
• Should the guests feel the need to change the sightseeing schedule, we request to be informed about it a day in advance by 16:00 hrs. After the said time it becomes difficult for
• us as we would have already planned the next day.
• Please note any additional cost arising due to the reschedule will be charged additionally at times, due to rush at the tourism office in Gangtok, permits are issued late for restricted areas (Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, Nathu La, North Sikkim). Guests, patience is highly
• appreciated during such situations
• Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.

• Most hotels in the region do not have lift. In case if guests have trouble in climbing the stairs due to old age or medical conditions, we request to be informed in advance so that we can
• ask the hotels to book rooms at the lower levels of the hotels
• The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim & Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or compare it with the standards of cities or other developed destinations. There is
• always scarcity of water and power in the region; hence guests may come across situations like hot-water being supplied on a timely basis - morning & evening.
• Room heaters are available at additional cost. (Except in Luxury and Premium category hotels)
• Hotels in North Sikkim serve mostly vegetarian fare with very limited options for non Vegetarian. This is primarily because of the location, which makes it difficult to source good
• quality meat.
• A valid photo ID proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory

• Child 5 -10 years. without extra bed as mention in cost column (CNB = Child no Bed)
