FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MOREMI GAME RESERVE
The Moremi Game Reserve is approximately 80km northeast of Maun. Once through the buffalo fence, 50km into your day trip, game viewing will begin. The reserve is home to a range of habitats that take you on a journey from arid landscapes to vibrant wetlands
. This is a quintessential Botswana experience that showcases the life-giving effect of the Okavango floodwaters. With this diversity of ecosystems comes an amazing array of wildlife sightings, birding and natural beauty -some of the very best in Africa. The grasslands and forested areas support huge herds of impala, tsessebe, buffalo, wildebeest, elephant and zebra. The wetland areas are home to red lechwe, waterbuck, hippo and crocodile. This abundance of prey attracts predators like lion, cheetah and wild dog. Your professional guide, using his knowledge and experience of the area will ensure that you enjoy the very best of what the reserve has to offer.
The day trip departs early (6h00 for 6h30) in an open game drive vehicle. On the road between Maun and the buffalo fence it can be quite windy and cold. Once you are in the wildlife area and game driving at a slower pace, it is more comfortable. Enjoy a morning coffee stop en route to South Gate, the entrance to the Moremi Game Reserve. The day is spent exploring the Western section of Moremi, with game viewing experiences dictating your route. Relax and stretch your legs at a scenic lunch stop in the unspoiled wilderness. After lunch, you will continue with your game drive, slowly making your way back to Maun, arriving in the early evening

Chobe Sightings
We can’t guarantee specific sightings, but elephants are almost a given, as Chobe has the highest concentration of these fascinating giants in the world! Buffalo, zebra, hyena, giraffe, red lechwe, hippo and crocodiles are often spotted.
The bird life is amazing in Chobe with over 460 species of birds.
If you’re lucky you can see the big cats like lions and leopards. There are cheetahs too, but they’re very elusive and favor the Linyanti region of the park.
12:30 PM you will go back to the hotel or lodge to have your lunch
BOAT CRUISE: At 2:00 pm you will head for a boat cruise on Chobe river.
The Chobe Flood Plains are a magnificent sight to behold, with scenes so expansive all around you that you can see forever and a day to the back of beyond. This is ideal wild- game viewing territory. At times it’s all one large lake, but mostly the Chobe River meanders through plains on one side and edges the incredible Chobe National Park on the other. It’s from this 11,770-square-kilometre wilderness that a plethora of animals arrive to slake their thirst or, in many cases, to graze on the lush grasses stretching from one horizon to another. What better, then, than to be cruising gently along the shallow river and into its side-channels and creeks to view at close hand what comprises ‘Nature’s Call’ on this particular day.
Elephant in large herds or small groups are almost a guarantee…and you’ll thrill to the sight of multiple antelope species, grazing contently but with an instinctive eye on lurking crocodiles. Hippos and their cute calves honk, splash and communicate noisily. Maybe you’ll witness a kill by lions, a leopard, hyena, jackal or caracul…spell-binding predators all. Just the right time your guide will offer beer, wine or cool drinks, affording quieter moments to observe some of the 460 bird species that seasonally proliferate in the area. It’s Raw Africa on call.
Day 6 : Kasani
08:10 am: Wake up call, bath and pack your personal belongings
09: 30 am – Take your last special breakfast together with the tour crew.
10:30 am: You will be transferred to the Airport to board your plane. You will joyfully return to your respective home places with sweet memories of Botswana
