Important notes for the package

Day 1 :
0800 hrs We stop at the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz situated at the foothills of Jebel Akhdar (Green Mountains). Enjoy a walk through its oasis and dense date plantations. Then we depart for Jabrin, the finest of Oman's castles built in the late 17th century became a seat of Omani learning. The castle displays the highest achievement in Omani ceiling painting & beautifully executed woodcarvings. Visit Misfah a pretty mountain village with stone dwellings still in existence. While heading for Jebel Shams stop at the terrace farming village of Wadi Ghul. Our next stop takes us to Wadi Nakher located in the depth of our deepest canyon. In the Jebel Akhdar range Jebel Shams the highest peak offers a spectacular view. Nizwa, capital of the interior, is the birthplace of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Nizwa Souq is renowned for it's intricately hand-carved "Khanjars" (daggers) & ornamental silver jewellery. Return to Nizwa.

Overnight stay at Falaj Daris Hotel.
Day 2 :
Breakfast. 0800 hrs We depart from Nizwa for Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and White sea of sand and dunes rising up to 200 meters, which are host to a variety of flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographers delight. Visit a Bedouin house
in this wilderness. In stark contrast to this is Wadi Bani Khalid. It comprises of small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water. We then head for Sur.
Overnight stay at Sur Plaza Hotel.
Lunch can be had at Al Sharqiyah Sands hotel on your own.

Day 3 :
0800 hrs Visit the fish jetty and dhow factory . Visit the Sineslah Fort. The ruins of Bibi Miriam's Tomb can be seen at the village of Qalhat on coastal road to Muscat. Stop at Fins beach for a swim . Our next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. On clear sunny days while driving along the coast one might chance to see sharks in the deep blue water or fleet footed Gazelle sprint across the landscape.Proceed to Wadi Arbayeen which has refreshing deep pools of water set among the date palms. Visit the mango plantations at Hail Al Ghaf before returning to Muscat via Quriyat Overnight stay at Muscat hotel of your choice
