Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati to Shillong

  Pickup from Guwahati Airport and Drive to Shillong . O/n At a Hotel in Shillong.

• Day 2 : Shillong

  There are Numerous Things to Do and Places to Visit Depending On Your Interest.
  
  If You are Interested in Walking and Nature You Can Start Your Day with a Visit to the Sacred Forests of Mawphlang Village. The Khasi Tribe of Meghalaya Were Once Animists, Who Believed in the Spirits of the Forest with Every Village Maintaining a Tract of Forest Called Sacred Groves . The Forests of Mawphlang are One of the Last Surviving Sacred Groves in Meghalaya. On the Way Back Stop At Shillong Peak from Where You Can Enjoy Grand Panoramas of the City.
  
  In the Second Half Visit the Don Bosco Museum of Culture, Considered One of the Best Ethnographic Museum in the Country. This Seven Storied Museum Showcases the Culture of all the Eight North Eastern States. Later in the Afternoon You Can Head Out to Polo Grounds for a Game of ‘teer’, a Local Form of Archery On Which Local Gamble and is the Post Popular Sport in Meghalaya. O/n At a Hotel in Shillong.

• Day 3 : Shillong – Mawlynnong – Shillong

  Drive to Mawlynnong Village On the Indo – Bangla Border. This Picturesque Village Has Been Nominated as the ‘cleanest Village in Asia’ . Walk Through Flower Laden Paths of the Village, While Interacting with the Locals . On the Way Back Stop At the Neighbouring Village of Riwai to Walk to a Root Bridge .
  
  By Evening Drive Back to Shillong. O/n At a Hotel in Shillong.

• Day 4 : Shillong to Kaziranga

  Kaziranga Has Three Main Ranges Where One Can Undertake Jeep Safari – the Central Range (kohra), the Western Range (baghori) and the Eastern Range (agratoli).
  
  post Breakfast Go for a Jeep Safari in the Central Range of the Park with a Good Chance of Seeing May Herbivores. in the Evening Head Out for a Second Jeep Safari to the Western Range Which Has a High Density of Wild Buffalos, Rhinos and Swamp Deer. O/n At a Hotel in Kaziranga

• Day 5 : Kaziranga

• Day 7 : Majuli

  In the Morning Visit Some of the Satras to Get An Understanding of the Vaishanvite Culture. Interact with the Monks , Learning About Their Simple Way of Life. Your Next Stop Would Be the Mask Making Village Where a Family Has Been Making Masks for Special Dances, Since Four Generations.
  
  in the Evening Walk Through a Mishing Tribal Village to Bond with the Locals Over a Cup of Traditional Rice Beer. the Mishing are Extremely Hospitable People, have Unique Farming and Fishing Practices. O/n At Bamboo Cottage in Majuli

• Day 8 : Majuli to Dibrugarh

  This Morning Set Off in Small Boats Exploring the Smaller Channels of the Brahmaputra. this Will Provide An Excellent Opportunity to See Birds like Spot Billed Pelicans, Open Billed Stork, Adjutant Stork , Bar Headed Geese and Many More. Alternatively You Can Cycle Around the Idyllic Roads of Majuli.
  
  by Afternoon Take a Ferry Back to Nimati Ghat and Continue Driving to Dibrugarh. if Time Permits You Can Visit the Ruins of the Ahom Kingdom in Sibsagar. O/n At a Hotel in Dibrugarh

• Day 9 : Dibrugarh

  Drop to Dibrugarh airport
