Greet and meet our friendly guide at Adelaide Airport and transfer to hotel check in. Head to North Terrace and sightseeing in the downtown area includes the University of Adelaide, South Australian Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, Parliament House and the largest commercial walking street of South Australia – King William Street by passing through Victoria Square.
Visit the famous McLaren Vale for its remarkable wine, rich specialties and beautiful scenery. You can go for Wine Tasting ($10pp) and also taste almond, olive oil, New Zealand dukka, soy sauce, chutney and jam on Almond Train, a marvellous place for food lovers. Afterward, visit the famous whaling harbour of the 19th century – Victor Harbour. Walk along the wharf road or take the only Traditional Horse-Drawn Cart of Australia ($9/$7) to Granite Island, you can also attend The Big Duck Cruise ($35/$25-Infant not available, booking essential) where you can enjoy the spectacular island landscape and have the opportunity to watch sea lions, seals and magical little penguin hiding in caves, you may also see the whales swimming in the ocean in winter.
Visit Monarto Zoo ($34.50/$19) which known as the Australia’s Kenya, take the shuttle bus and see the carious rare African animals inhabiting here, such as white rhino, giraffe, zebra, African lion, cheetah, chimpanzee, elephants, black rhinos, Przewalski’s horses, scimitar-horned Oryx and African painted dogs. After lunch (at your own expense), stroll along the Murray River to enjoy the scenery at the river bank and experience the leisure fishing life of local residents. Afterward, visit the Mt. Lofty Summit spectacular the landscape of Adelaide.
Explore the Australia’s famous vineyards at Barossa Valley by passing through the beautiful Adelaide Hill, participate in Wine Tasting ($10pp) in the World-renowned vineyard – Jacobs Creek. You can ramble through the grapevines and learn about the planting and growing process of grapes; also savour the high quality red wine at vineyard. Head to Menglers Hill Lookout for a panoramic view of the Barossa Valley. You can also experience the Whispering Wall where the fantastic acoustic phenomenon. Visit the Hahndorf German Village, a famous Australian historical site where we can experience the local culture and art while enjoying a German pettitoes meal and a glass of German black beer or a cup of soft drink ($30pp at your own expense).
